Shatter Me was sooooooo good, I hope you enjoy it :)!!

I'm in. Last read-a-thon I went over my 1000 page goal by a bit, so this time my goal shall be 1300 pages this time around.
I think I will be doing around 1000 pages, but I'm not sure how many days since I will still be in school and read when I'm done with homework.

@Erica: I added both your goals. You can choose whatever you want
@Nancy: Is a read-all-you-can, so if you can read, you do, if you don't, you don't
(did that make sense?)

I finished my 26th book today, The Graveyard Book. I loved it! Neil Gaiman's narration really added to the story, I think. He has such wonderful vo..."

I'm in CST.
I'm still in the RaT but I'm not doing any pages since I will be in school so, I will just be reading for fun.

I wrote a brief review and this was it:
This was a big improvement over Bloodlines and The Golden Lily. The first two books were seriously disapponting and I was worried that Richelle Mead had lost her touch. Mead is well known for making the third book in her various series extravagant and heartbreaking. While this wasn't the best ever, it certainly did wonders for the series as a whole. Sydney wasn't nearly as boring as she usually is. In fact, she was actually entertaining. I'm looking forward to seeing more of her rebellious nature.

You are so right. My zyrtec induced brain decided otherwise. Sorry :( Corrected the info.

It's okay, Sonia! LOL, I just figure things like that are going to default to migraine meds or something like sleep deprivation and the like, hehe!

I must start planning things... oh dear...oh dear... I'm so late!

Say what? Team C just had a giganormous growth this weekend.

Ooh! I read that one recently. I loved it! I think I cried.

I give up on that one... didn't pass the first 3 pages.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who has had trouble with this thing. I'm not sure how I've made it this far.

I got this book about 4 years ago, and never got past the first 10 pages or so. I'm so glad to see I'm not the only one! And all the great reviews it's gotten just add to the pain and make me feel like I HAVE to read and like it or there's something wrong with me!
On another note, approaching the halfway of

The problem with this book IMO is that it could be cut in half. A lot of nothing happened, but the end was good.

That's a great way to put it. My Dad's friend recently recommended it to me. When I finished it, he said, "Were you surprised when something actually happened?"

I am liking it so far

It's taken approximately 200 pages but something is happening. I'm not sure what but something. I don't know why I can't bring myself to put it down. It's like I get a prize if I read it but I feel like that prize is a really mediocre book I will regret taking forever to read.

HA! I wonder why he recommend it in the first place.

He knew I liked paranormal books, and he said (view spoiler) . I thought the recommendation was odd too, especially accompanied by the other book he wanted me to read, Life of Pi. They make an odd couple.
