I only have 10 paid books left, hundreds of free ones.I would like to read all the ones I bought in 2011, and still got too many paperbacks
You're confusing me Elle, why wouldn't your classics count? I was just wondering if your list of classics from 2010 was before or after you had read your classics for this year.
My bad, it wasn't a classic challenge just a read the earliest books challenge which happened to be classics :o)I put the Harry Potter books on my kindle last night but now I can't decide if I want to read them on kindle or read the actual books

Not sure I'll read a 3rd this year though.
ha ye i remember that desley which makes me think its a horrid idea but hopefully ill be reading other books in between and just working on classics as well but with a little more effort than normal.Jud - the classic im reading at the minute isnt actually on that early list as its one from 2011 and those are from 2010 -.-
speaking of HP - have you see the new version? oh dear lord. they are beautiful. the spines put together make up HOGWARTS *dies*
NO!! I haven't even seen them and I want them!Freakily I was just coming on here to vent some Harry Potter mania - you infected me, damn you! - I NEED to start reading them soon, although recently finished the first one so shall be starting with the 2nd
im not even lying but shamefully i only have 3% left in the first one and i still havent bothered to finish it.....
I got so busy with uni I re-started it last month so wasn't *that* bad although still. 3%....... eurgh. ill finish it tonight *nods*
I've started organising my books, I'm only going to do the free ones, not the paid for or classics, and I've eliminated all the ones from 2011, the first 2 months I had my kindle :)
What are you doing right now Elle? 3% you could finish it now.Shouldn't you be getting rid of the paid ones first Claire? Since, you know, you paid for them?
That is what I was thinking Jud.And I can't at the minute because I'm not in my house. I'm currently stationed in my Aunts place with her potting around. I also don't particularly like highlighting on anything but my Kindle and I don't have it with me.

Yeah but the paid ones are the ones I want to take my time over reading, the free ones have a 50/50 chance of being rubbish so I don't mind reading them quicker. So I intersperse them. Plus, if I read more free ones, I free up space quicker!! :)
For me at least, its not a case of space being a problem, more getting numbers down to a more manageable number
(I'm just imagining the discussions we'd have)"Dobby is the best"
"I know right? I hate that he splatters Harry with cream cake and sugared violets though"
"Yea, true. but the flying car is the best!"
"I love the Weasleys"
"I love the Burrow"
"It's just so amazing!"
I haven't started to but I plan to tonight or so.I must bump the other HP thread.
I hope to read another 11 books this year. That'd bring my total down to 250 unread books. That'd be nice.
So, I had one single author with the first name beginning with O to complete my challenge but the book was something I wasn't really wanting to read then I discovered today it was free so I deleted it.Now I don't have one! HELP. I don't even know of any?
I don't know how you feel about romances but the only one I've got is
or
by Olivia Goldsmith. They're the same book, different titles. It was quite a good read!
holy crap second year in uni is no joke kids.i will eventually update this thread. the movie bit is going to take forever..
