I'm downloading the Goodreads app onto my phone, and I'll log into that as RKB, then I can leave my browser logged in as me. Great challenge!

We all need to start reading weird and interesting books that no one else is reading ;-)
I love this idea. I'm definitely in. With how fast I read, I'll pick a certain day a week or once a month to sign into the RKB goodreads to update my shelf :)

I mostly read Christian fiction and young adult fiction. Do those count?

Wow, even books we read our kids! Well,I read him a book every night. Ofcourse, he likessome books over and over,but still I still have a lot of different ones that I read him.
Everything should definitely count! All genres, etc. I think that makes it more interesting- to see the variety.
I agree n that way we all get exposed to many more books from different genres.
I've never put the books I read with my son on Goodreads, not sure why, but I'll be sure to add them to the RKB page.

I'm in. I like the idea of using my phone to sign in to the RKB one. I'll try to remember to keep it updated. Shouldn't be too hard since I'm good at tracking my books anyway.

Are you ready for a year-long challenge? A challenge that everyone on the RKB page can participate in, whether you usually do challenges or not? Can we, as a group, read 2013 different books in 2013?? Let's find out!!
With Jessica's help, I've created an RKB page on GoodReads. The email address is rkbreaders@gmail.com and the password is rkbfb. Log into that account and set up a shelf with your name. After you've finished a book, put it on your shelf. That's it! It doesn't matter how many others have read the book. GRs only counts one of each.
A suggestion: I know it might be a pain to log in and out of your own account. If you have more than one browser, you can set up your main one for your personal page and your alternative browser for the RKB page.
If you don't have a GoodReads account, not to worry! I'll be posting this on the Forum page (the little smile icon under the RKB picture) so you can put the books you've read there and I'll post them on GR. Also, once a week or so, I'll post a reminder here.
Remember, this starts on January 1, 2013!
