message 163: by Coralie (new)

Coralie | 1658 comments I am currently readingKristin Lavransdatter which would do for character name in title - K, but I'm tossing up whether it would be better to throw it at the pages tower as it's so long.

message 164: by D.G. (new)

D.G. | 1370 comments If it's really long, I'll throw it at the Pages tower.

I agree with D.G., Coralie, if it is really long, I would throw it at the pages tower. I'm sure we can come up with something for here. I may read Katherine by Anya Seton since it has been on my TBR forever. I'll have to see if I can fit it in though.

message 166: by Coralie (new)

Coralie | 1658 comments The pages tower it is then. At over 1100 pages it should make some dint in that tower.

Wow!

I have Letters to Kelly which I could always fit in there. And that's less than 300 pages. :)

Oh no, Karen. That is too bad. I am reading a book like that myself right now. It is no fun.

Let me know when you are recovered, Dee. Although, I think you can reserve, just not report? Or is it you can't do either. I can't remember.

When you are "injured" you can't report anything until you complete your recovery task. I don't remember reading anywhere that you couldn't reserve titles.

Lyn (Readinghearts) (lsmeadows) | 2895 comments Mod
That's what I thought, Amy.

Or you could use it as 1904 if you wanted.

I have to let go of the reservation for character name "Z." I'm reading Z for Zachariah, and there's no such character in the book.

Very weird, I agree. I don't know if it will come up again later or not (I'm only about half-way through), but early on, the protagonist is describing a book from which she learned the alphabet, starting with "A for Adam" and ending with "Z for Zachariah."

message 199: by Dee (new)

Dee (austhokie) | 2695 comments isn't Zachariah supposed to be the last person on earth, so by using it, it was an analogy to the end of the world and no survivors (I read this back in high school)

message 200: by Amy (new)

Amy | 2241 comments I had already reserved title "R" in message 176.
