Oh yeah...well actually I'm not sure how new that is for me, though I gather that they had hoped to swing Lacy to their side...of course I don't think they counted on her getting powerful enough to give Professor X nightmares.
Let's go for it. Something/someone sent be back here for a reason..*sucker for lower lip chewers*..
*looks at Mike*Would I really give Prof. X nightmares? I don't want to give anyone nightmares...*places my elbows on the table and cover my face* I'm becoming such a monster!
Oh stop it, I though we'd gotten you past that....is Superman a monster? That guy could accidentally do all kinds of damage. Same goes for Prof. X, himself. You look to be headed toward being one of the more powerful people in several universes...you could be a nightmare for evil doers you know.* Mike walks to food reconstituter and then goes to Lacy's table.*
Here drink this Dr. Pepper. I hear they're great mood enhancers.
* Mike squeezes Lacy's shoulder*

*looks at the Dr. Pepper then up at Mike then to Arthur* Sorry...I'm still nervous about these new powers...I didn't ask for them that's for sure. *takes a sip from the can and sighs, leaning agains Arthur*
*offers Lacey a bite of my special brownie i smuggled aboard to help calm her* so what do we hope to find on this planet were headed to? *cat appears on my shoulder wearing a huge cheshire grin*
* Mike leans down to Lacy's ear and whispers *don't drink that too fast...
* Mike kisses her cheek and grins as he runs for the control room*
*eyes the brownie the shakes my head, turning my head away* No thanks...*keeps my head against his shoulder that isn't occupied by the cat* Oh Arthur who is your friend? And we are hoping to get word out about the Evil Overlords and find allies. Plus just to hide out for a little bit.*glares after Mike* Oh shut up you! *giggles and shakes my head a little surprised by the kiss on my cheek*
* Mike calls from the control room*Looks like we have 2 more days in hyperspace. We'll come out at Altare 3...which is pretty much just a supply stop and then we can jump for the mysterious planet of the Dr. from there.
Ah ya some down time. We could use some. *thinking about a dinner.. maybe start with a nice Thai salad..Garlicy Lentil soup...chicken Vindaloo...*
*I lift my head off of Arthur's shoulder and look down the corridor to the control room* Mike, what do we do with Scott? Do we knock him out? Leave him at the planet we stop at for supplies?
For now he stays in lock-up.Just use the food reconstituter Arthur, it'll pretty much come with anything you type in...except for Ludwigan Blood Ticks...it can never get those right...
Anyway, if there's a Ranger presence or some other authority we can trust we can drop him off, but I don't want him getting back to his cronies.
Why not just space him?? Save having to answer alot of questions as to how we came to posses him. *scratchs cats chin*
Well, I can see your point but I'm a paladin. The best I can do is give him a weapon and offer him a fight to the death.
*I walk to the brig open Scotts door and offer him a choice. You can volunteer to walk out of the airlock or listen to some really good VOGAN poetry I recored..So what's going to be.
*cat licks my face*
* Mike lunges to turn the force-field back on *

* Scott lunges for Arthur's throat*
*hits the play button on cd player and the poetic voice of the head VOGAN rings out and ............
*3 Cybermen appear around the two combatants *[off to bed Madjack...gives you time to think, LOL]
(sorry I disappeared had to go out for a bit)*I walk up behind Mike and Arthur* What are you two doing? I hope you aren't torturing the prisoner or anything.
*Mike vanishes, and while Scott lays writhing on his cell floor I slam the cell door shut. *wanders around thinking (and no it doesn't hurt much)cat in tow...
*Steps closer and looks down at Scott before I sigh heavily and walk to the quiet sitting/reading room. Tor lays next to my chair while I curl up and grab a book from one of the shelves. I quietly read while Tor watches protectively over me*
* Mike wonders how much of what just happened may have been a hallucination....*
*I lay my head back against the back of the chair and close my eyes, sighing heavily, laying the book opened and down across my lap so I didn't lose my place. I listen to Tor who was purring away as he played with a giant piece of lint.*
* Mike goes to his room...checks his weapons (of course) and pulls down a book*[I won't be around much tonight or tomorrow. I have the Maundy Thursday service tonight and there's the Good Friday service tomorrow night....don't you 2 kill me off :)]
(Aaaa ruin my fun Mike lol just kidding. I won't be around much this weekend either.. So nobody kill me)*I open my eyes, look at the book suddenly bored and leaves the room, Tor right at my heels. We walk over to a use room with a high ceiling and decide to exercise our wings, taking off and flying around the room. Riddick enters the room and I swoop down, picking him up, and fly with him. He looks a bit surprised then grows comfortable, knowing that I won't drop him*
Ah morning,jump off my rack, throw on my close and zip on down to the galley..Ya right..Roll and hit the snooze a couple of times, Tell the coffee machine to brew me a cup of Jhukatas AAA an finaly roll off my rack. Drink my brew and stroll on down to the brig to see how Scott made out with the 3 Cybermen...Got to his cell and to my amazement there were now 4 Cybermen in the cell..Scott problem solved..Jusr drop these 4 with the space MARINES on planet and that's it
*After flying for a while I land on the ground with Riddick and Tor, feeling a little better, though wish that I could be flying off the ship now. We walk to the mess hall to grab something to eat, chatting with one another, Riddick staying close to me.*
* Mike passes through stopping for a glass of iced tea*So, where's Arthur? I haven't seen him since he opened the brig's force field and accidentally teleported some highly dangerous Cybermen onto the ship.
*Looks up and shrugs* Not sure...Tor and I were reading in the 'library' while Riddick was cleaning his weapons sitting in the front seat.
Huh....well, he does vanish now and then. Is he a Time Lord or someone who hung out with Time Lords? Or do either of you know?* Mike sets his Tea on the table...thinks about it and adds another full glass to the first and gets some steak and eggs.*
*I shake my head and shrug* I haven't really talked to him that much truthfully so I'm not really sure. *i take a bite of my eggs Benedict and watches as Riddict tries Eggs Benedict for the first time, smiling when he chews and his eyes light up* See! I told you you'll like it.
*Tor wrinkles his nose and goes back to munching on his steak* I take that as a no. * I giggle and continue to eat* What about you Mike? What kind of foods do you like? W never have had a sit down and talk. We've always been on the run or dealing with one thing or another.
I think I'm mostly like Tor and Knight. Given the choice I'll usually go with a...highly protein diet.
*smiles* What about favorite drinks? Dessert?
Iced tea...unless "drink" implies alcohol then just a beer. Dessert????? Hummmm.... Cherry pie, pecan pie, coconut cake....You?
*chews on my lower lip* ummm...food wise, meats, potatoes., salads (sometimes) not big on fruits and veggies unless they are provided then I'll eat them. Dessert? CHOCOLATE! *giggles* then for drink Dr. Pepper but I am trying to cut back, tea, decaf coffee, and water...alcohol not much of a drinker..sometimes wine...but I mainly drink nonalcoholic beer like O'Dulhs
Never could develop a taste for the low alcohol beer. Chocolate huh? Always good...
*cocks my head to the side* It's so strange actually being able to just relax even though we know we are being hunted. *plays a little with my food* Do you think they'll catch us in the end, Mike? Do you think we'll ever be able to have a normal life again? Or even be safe?
....actually this sort of is my normal life....except for the mutated muscles and stuff.There always seems to be another evil overlord or wanna' be dictator or mad scientist or something out there every time things look like they may calm down.
It's sort of like being a maintenance worker, something else always breaks.
*I sigh heavily* Think we'll ever get to go home?
* Mike worries a bit about Lacy*Lacy...I can't promise anything, but if you want we'll jump to take you home next. I know this has to hard. What do you want to do, we'll do it.
*I shake my head* no...I don't want to put them in danger. And going home...I know that is what they want so they can use them against me. Maybe after we stop the overlords...*Riddick slips his arm around my shoulders and holds me close as I stab my food over and over again having lost my appetite.*
*Mike...seeing Lacy playing with her food again knows she needs to get her mind off things *So, Tor...are you the one who's been sharpening his claws on the steel door jams?
