Good luck!!

I'm thinking Laid Bare - Lauren Dane with a link to the song title / book title. I'm hoping that I'll get a link with the handcuffs in the video clip for a plot point link as well

I think I'll go with one of these...

For Cover (2 Points) - On Cover is a pretty ladies dress and all video showed were dresses
For Plot (3 Points) - the lady in my book kidnaps and holds a man captive and they have passionate love and in the lyrics it has "This bed is on fire
With passionate love" and in the lyrics it seems "she" is obsessed with bossing the guy around and doing what she wants and heck with what he wants....

(and possibly borrow someone else's inspiration)

Setting - 1993---------------6 Points
Name - James (character)-----5 Points
Plot - the lady in my book kidnaps and holds a man captive and they have passionate love and in the lyrics it has "This bed is on fire With passionate love" and in the lyrics it seems "she" is obsessed with bossing the guy around and doing what she wants and heck with what he wants---3 Points
Cover - Dress On Cover--------2 Points
The Cover has not been approved yet but I just re-read the lyrics and it does have "women's clothes" in them.....

Review:
Ok.. well I read it. I will say that I felt no connection with either Ana or Grey. As the saying goes I'd slap Ana silly except she already is. The character of Grey was definitely not fleshed out. At the most he was two-dimensional. At times I found myself thinking "it's about time for Grey to " and sure enough, next paragraph there you are.
You know how a good book can sweep you along so that the pages almost seem to turn themselves. This wasn't like that.
Each sentence felt like a chore. It was soooo hard to keep my attention on this. The only good thing about it is that I don't feel in the need for Brain Bleach (that's all that saves it from a one star rating)
Links:
SHELF - on "Obsessed Hero" shelf
COVER - mask on cover matches masks in video clip
PLOT - Song is about obsessive, passionate love as is this particular book (even if I personally think it's been done a lot better)
NAME - singer's name "James" matches author's surname (E.L. James)
Individual points: Shelf(1) + Cover(2) + Plot(3) + Name(5) = 11 points

I'll look some out...I have a weakness for BAD fiction but they're not exactly the kind of thing that the name sticks in your head.

I loved the first one and absolutely hated the third one. Why on earth are they making a movie out of them? They are not movie material. It'll be horrible

Review: Jennifer Blake writes great gothic bodice ripper type romances. She puts twists and turns in the story that keep you guessing till the end of the book.
In this one, the heroine, Katrine, is married to Giles. He's older than her and unable to have chlidren so he decides to hold an old fashioned knight's tournament with jousting and fencing and the such. The winner gets....to sleep with Katrine and get her preggo so Giles can have an heir. Katrine is totally against this. Well, in comes the hero, Rowan. He wins the tournament but has ulterior motives for being there in the first place; his brother was killed on Katrine's plantation the year before and he wants answers. Giles is so obsessed with Katrine having a baby he goes so far as to drug her and trap her naked in a tower with Rowan. Rowan and Katrine fall in love and the get their HEA, but it's not without complications and surprises galore.

Review: Well, I finished the trilogy at least. Anna and Christian were as messed up and infuriating as ever. I thought the writing was a little better but the expression "Hmmm" was overused in this one.

Review: I'm sorry but it was all I could do to get thru this book. It was just quite boring and dragged then on parts that I may have enjoyed reading like Gabrielle's time spent with her father it skipped over and quickly advanced us into the future.
I didn't really care for any of the characters one way or the other but I especially never took a liking to James who to me always came off snooty although he used to be a pirate himself. The only time I really got excited about the entire story was when Gabrielle kidnapped James's brother in law because she needed his ship but also because she had decided he was the man she wanted to marry and for shaming her at one of her high society parties she felt she owed him some payback and humiliation of her pirating his ship.
Links:
PLOT: Woman so oncessed with making man her husband she kidnaps him, pirates his ship, and has passionate love with him at sea!
NAME: Has character named James.
SETTING: First published in 1993.

CaroB, have you read Tiffany Reisz's Original Sinners series that starts with The Siren? I haven't personally read them but one of my fellow book bloggers absolutely adores them and says they are much better than FSoG.

Butterfinger cupcakes?!? Ummmm.... yum! That sounds delicious.
Good luck with your job interview; I'm sure you'll do great, Susan. :)

Christal, I feel your pain about Ana and Christian. :)

This time though, I've noticed that there are a few backstory scenes that take place in a war zone, so you have been awarded 3 points for plot, and 1 point for shelf.
