Shelleyrae at Book'd Out | 52 comments I'm not sure what to do in this instance.

This book http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/62... is the same as this book http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/68... however the first's author name (Lauren Conrad) is a pseudonym for the author Fiona McIntosh and the book has been published under both names.

Should the books be combined or are they best left separate? And if they should be combined I assume a super moderator will need to do so

Thanks for your help!

Cait (tigercait) | 4988 comments The book which was published second has the original author's name entered as the primary author and the published-as author's name entered as a secondary author. (Then they can be combined as usual. It doesn't require super-librarian permissions.)

ETA: Hmm. Except that because of the still outstanding problem with series attribution, this makes the series for that book invisible on the author's profile. Given that this is the only book published under that pseud and the series is ongoing under the new name, I'm going to switch the names around in this particular instance.
