Megan Brooker | 473 comments War and Peace and Les Miserables which I both really liked back when I read them in high school. Also The Last of the Mohicans which I don't remember if it was long but it seemed that way because of the old English.

message 57: by Michael (new)

message 58: by Erin (new)

Erin Latimer | 108 comments Well Twilight SEEMED long...lol, joking.

I read a bunch of Robert Jordan books, so THOSE are really long. And of course, I LOVE harry potter, wish the last book had been even longer!

message 59: by harshini (new)

harshini (watchmeread) | 644 comments I read the bind up of Lord of the Rings which is the old version with 1100 pages I think, but if you made that book with a readable format(lol) it would be about 2500 pages I swear!

message 60: by Ally (new)

Ally (arhart) Brisingr (The Inheritance Cycle, #3) by Christopher Paolini 763 pages. Though I'd really love to read the unabridged version of The Count of Monte Cristo when I have some time...

message 61: by Siobhan (new)

Siobhan (totalwordjunkie) | 32 comments I've read The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas , Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy and The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, #1-5) by Douglas Adams which are all 750-850 pages long, although the print size of the first two are smaller and hitch hikers is technically 5 books, I just bought them bound together. I like challenging books, or books from the 50 books to read before you die list if I'm not reading YA.

How did you like Under the Dome? I literally couldn't put it down. Walked around still reading and bumping into things! :D

message 73: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (simplysarah13) | 315 comments Possibly the Fifty Shades of Grey Trilogy Bundle.
I'm working on reading it on my Kindle.
When I checked the page count out of sheer curiosity, it showed that the page count was 1700 pages. I was in awe!

message 74: by Gabs (new)

Gabs Hmmm........I want to say one of the classics, but I can never remember how many pages they are. I think one of The Peter and The Starcatchers series. They were all between 500-600 pages. I don't usually read huge books. Les Miserables the Count of Monte Cristo are all on my to read list, and they are pretty big, I think, but I haven't actually read them yet.

message 75: by [deleted user] (new)

message 89: by Brigid ✩ (new)

Brigid ✩ Pretty sure the longest thing I've read is A Clash of Kings (the sequel to Game of Thrones) which I believe is 960-something pages and it took me like five or six months to read. And it's not even the longest book in the series, which I have yet to finish. :P
