BBC adapting JK Rowling's new book "The Casual Vacancy" into a TV series

I personally haven't read the book yet but I hope too soon. I'm kind of excited for a JK Rowling TV series especially since she is going to be involved with the series. For those that have read the book what are your thoughts of the book and it being made into a TV series?

I was kind of disappointed by the book. It wasn't bad, it just didn't grab me. I realized halfway through tht I was still reading it not out of enjoyment, but as something to fill the time.

That said, I can see how it would translate well into a TV show.

I am in the middle of reading the book right now and can definitely see it being well translated into a series. I'm enjoying the book quite a bit. The fact I'm a bit of a political junkie helps with that, I'm sure.
