I nominate A Sword in Her Hand by Jean-Claude van Rijckeghem. I've had this on my to-read shelve for over a year. It looks good, I just need an excuse to read it :-).

I nominate . I saw it on a list of best YA for 2012 as one of the best historical fiction novels.

I want to read both Come Juneteenth and Keeping the Castle - both good nominations :-)

I would like to nominate . It a great book about a women who travels to the backwoods of the Appalachia during the turn of the century to be a school teacher.

I've heard of that series - even noticed that the tv episodes aired on tv when I was younger :-)
