WOW. These are some really, really high page counts! I know that we all read different types of books at different rates and different amounts, but wow! My page goal for 2014 is 10400, or 400 pages on average for my 26-book goal.

My years run a bit differently than the calendar year. My goals start on October 13 (the day I got married and started a whole host of new things) and end on October 12, so I've already started counting pages. However, I'm also willing to consider going January 01 - December 31 as an additional challenge.

Oh, geez. I'm just making things more complicated, aren't I? I can't help it! The day I got married was the first day of a new sort of life, and so that's the day my years start. I hope it won't bother anyone! It all comes out to 365 days of counting!

I have been tracking the number of pages. I read since the end of August 2011. it's a fun thing to do.

Also, GR makes it easy - if you click on My Books and then go to stats they show you how many pages and how many books you've read in any given year so far as if you've entered this information to Goodreads. But I do find that my number which is determined from the book I rad or the number of pages from Amazon for audios or Kindle reads is sometimes vastly different. This year I am going to take GR's number which I actually set on my books page read to pop up for each book finished.

Ok guys just for the fun of it I added up everyones page numbers other than mine. I think mine is updated though. For the year of 2013 with what is up there updated we read a total of 714,501 pages! Great job everyone! :) I had fun moderating this challenge taking over for Ashley.
