The Perks of Being a Wallflower
question
What did he mean with ''bad''?

Ok, I have never read the book, but I just watched the movie and Charlie is acting kind of like me,(I think we have the same ''issues'') and maybe it does not say in the book but, I would like to know what ''bad'' Charlie did before. Cause he mentions it like this in the movie: ''I probably wont tell them the truth because I don't want them to worry that I might get bad again''
I also saw the movie first and am currently reading the book. I take it as (view spoiler)
I could be wrong, though! I may edit this once I'm finished reading.

It's been a while since I read the book but I believe Jeni is correct.
"I probably won't tell them the truth because I don't want them to worry that I might get bad again." There a time, right after Charlie's aunt Helen died, that he kind of zoned out of life all together and pretty much got depressed. Getting bad refers to that time and he doesn't want to worry everyone and make them think that he will go back to that.
