I think that one of the selected girls plays a role with the rebels. But i think maxon will find out about aspen being at the palace. And i do think america will get taken at the end of the book. Leaveing the two guys to fight together to save her. To make the selection harder i bet the king is killed giving maxon active duty of his kingship. Im sure kass has something up that we are all dying to find out.

I hadn't thought that the King might die...that's a good idea. But with the way things are currently going, I'd say Book 2 is Maxon choosing America, and at the end she's captured by the rebels. Book 3, the King dies and Maxon searches (successfully) for her and they all live happily ever after. The end.
Really, anything could happen. Except America choosing Aspen. The world will seriously end if that occurs.
