So instead of taking up space in other places, I'll just place them here.

Okay it's 5:17 AM and I have a project due in two hours. The catch? I STILL DON'T HAVE THE TOPIC. The closest she said to it was "exam review". Oh that is SO helpful. She said when she finished the exam she'll email me the topics so I can do my project. Guess what? NO EMAIL.
Is there this unspoken rule that you cannot be friends with guys unless you are dating one of them? Because I go to my, female, friends and talk about what me and my, male, friends did and they'll like "do you like him". NO, YOU IDIOTS I DO NOT LIKE ANY OF THEM. Or if I am just hanging out with them in class, being weird, some girl whom I REALLY dislike decides to ask me and the one guy, "Are you two dating?" NO EW. Then my other friend decides to play along with the girl and says "You two are dating I didn't know". I punched him and he shut up. Why do girls have to be SUCH gossipers and think EVERYONE must be dating SOMEONE?
Oh my good gravy, finally somebody I can relate to! I have a few really close guy friends and I hang out with them sometimes. Nd the all of my other friends who are girls are all like "Errmerrgeerr, you guys are so cute together!" and squeal excitedly and all that girly stuff. Then I'm all like, "WHHHHAAAT THE FUDGE?!" because we are just friends and not dating. If I was dating one of my guy buds.... *shudders* It is so annoying when people say that.
Required Reading: one word WHY? Why does an entire class have to read the same book at the same time? We're reading a tale of two cities by Dickens and I enjoy the book but EVERYDAY WE HAVE TO READ SEVEN CHAPTERS OF IT. IT'S NOT THE OF EASIEST BOOKS! Expecting everyone to be able to read it WITHOUT resorting to sparknotes MAKES NO SENSE. Why can't she just assign either the book or a "pick one" off a list of books, and say "read it by the 15th of December (we started early last month)"? That would make this whole issue a LOT less horrible.
We had to read Tom Sawyer as a class last quarter and this quarter, we read Chasing Lincoln's Killer. I tend to enjoy books much more when I read them alone.
Chasing Lincoln's Killer was AMAZING

two words: CONTEXT CLUES!
Another rant. Okay my school is divided into two main parts: a school that you have to apply to get into (like a college idea) and a normal school. Im in the "applying school", which I'm going to call MS. At MS, there is a student run honor council and a student written honor policy. In this policy, there are things that make sense and things that do not. Under the "understandable" is no programming the answers into the calculator, no writing answers on your arm, and no telling people that have not taken the test the answers, all of which applies to both parts of the school. But, there are parts that DO NOT MAKE SENSE. YOU CANNOT TALK ABOUT THE TEST TO YOUR PARENTS. YOU CANNOT TELL SOMEONE QUESTIONS AFTER YOU BOTH HAVE TAKEN THE TEST. YOU CANNOT SAY HOW. HARD. THE. TEST. WAS. AND THIS ONLY APPLIES TO MS? Are they TRYING to get us suspended??? So if I rant about a specific question on Goodreads, IT'S AGAINST THE HONOR POLICY.
Science Fair, O Science Fair. How I detest thee, O Science Fair. I suppose you can guess that I really don't like Science Fair. I suppose that it has basis in a good idea: use research and the scientific method to prove or disprove a point. Yet, I ALWAYS have issues somewhere. Three years ago, I found a REALLY boring project, watching paper dry, and had issues finding and understanding the research. Two years ago, I found an experiment that had nearly no findable research and was inconclusive due to too many variables. Last year, I found an experiment that had TONS of research, but EVERY SINGLE THING I did, did not make it work, so it ended up being invalid. This year, it has VERY LITTLE research from credible sources and a tedious and boring experiment. Next year, I NEED to find one that HAS research AND is interesting. UGH
Really pointless rant ahead. Exams were last week and we used Scantrons for some of them. In case you didn't know, Scantrons are sheets of paper with little empty bubbles that you color in and the administrator feeds into a machine to grade them. But WHY must they be really THIN RECTANGLES? Bubbles you can do a circle thing. Squares you can go diagonal and shade. Thin rectangles? You can't "line" through it, it isn't thick enough. It isn't thick enough to bubble or diagonal. It's REALLY annoying.

The following might have several spoilers for LES MISÉRABLES (the new movie I haven't read the book or seen other editions yet) DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU. Now that that's over with...
OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH!!!! THIS IS SO BRILLIANT! I saw it yesterday and for once I have an ecstatic rant! (Do those exist? No matter,) The first half hour dragged until Anne Hathaway's character died. Because until then, it was all setting the stage; after that it was REVOLUTION (or at least an attempt) and stuff. I'm not a chick who likes all the romance and stuff, so I love how it's romance here, and immediately after is action, and later is historical world building. Although, my only complaint is that WHY MUST THEY SING EVERY LINE FOR TWO AND A HALF HOURS???? That's a long time to listen to nonstop singing. BUT IT WAS BRILLIANT AND HAD SOME GREAT SONGS!!!!

So I take it that you liked the movie? Overall what did you think of it? I got to see it on opening night, but not many people I know were interested in that movie. :(
Yeah I liked it. The people I talk to thought the following: too long, too many people died, too much singing, too confusing. The first three I agree with BUT THAT'S WHAT MADE IT AWESOME. The last one both added to its charm and makes me want to see it again. The movie made me want to read the book and, if the book is remotely like the book, is the perfect definition of a classic in my opinion. And just an FYI, I love classics.
It's a sad day when it's easier to schedule an event for six people than for three
