Jane from B.C. (janethebookworm) Hi everyone,

I am joining you from Delta, British Columbia in Canada.

I don't know if I can identify a single favourite authour. If we are talking classics, I love Jane Austen.
I tend to read a variety of things. Off the top of my head I enjoy the books of Kate Morton, Margaret Atwood, Carol Shields, Alan Bradley, Minette Walters, and Barbara Kingsolver.

The books that I have read this year that have resonated with me are: Tell the Wolves I'm Home, Beautiful Ruins, Memoirs of an Imaginary Friend, and The Song of Achilles

I also am interested in YA novels as I have two teenaged daughters and like to keep current on what kinds of things they read. I have been really surprised by some of the powerful stories being written for that group of readers. This year Every Day, The Fault in Our Stars, and Wonder have all touched me.
