Trying to find a book that I saw on Goodreads

Hello everyone! I am trying to find a book that was reccomended here on Goodreads, but that I didn't mark as wanted to read. Now, I am unable to find it anywhere.

I was looking for something similar to the fever series, and that is why I marked it as such in the topic. All I remember of the blurb is that the heroine was challenged to a series of games by the (Hero?). She had been playing the games for ten years and is twenty-five, the guy has been playing them for FOUR HUNDRED years.

I think that it could be Urban, but have checked every tag that I could possibly think of. If you have a suggestion for this book that would be great.

I thought that it had games or sin in the title, but I have checked to no avail.

Why don't you search for lists on Listopia that include the Fever series? Chances are some others who liked Fever also thought it sounded interesting and gave it a go. Maybe it's on one of the lists.

Hi Angie, I've already tried that. I've also stalked one a reader who seems to have a lot of books under her review belt, and thought that perhaps I had her on my list because of the belt. It's weird - the day that I was seeing it, it seemed to be on many of my reccomendation lists, as well in a blurb on the side. I even checked out the reviews on the book. Now, I can't find anything about it. I'd think that I dreamed it, but I know that I didn't.

I just posted to there - thanks! I had tried to find a discussion board like that here, but had no success. I am fairly new here and it seems that I still don't know everything about the message boards and their layouts. I appreciate your help.

I am hoping, if this book does exist, that it is worth the time I've spent looking for it!

I don't know why but that plot seems familiar. I just can't think of the book!

Or maybe I'm just thinking of No Rest for the Wicked although in this one, she's the one who has been participating in the contest for hundreds of years and he's the newbie to the whole thing.

I think that Sarah,at SmartBitches found it for me - A Sinister Game by Heather Killough-Walden. It isn't listed anywhere on Listopedia yet, so that is why I wasn't finding it there! I thought that the cover was different, and it doesn't say in the write up about the ages - I thought she was twenty five and he was over four hundred years old, but the title is close to what I thought.

I'm still out of luck - it doesn't seem to be listed at the bookstores, nor at KOBO. Going to do some digging.

No wonder I had a hard time finding it. It only kind of exists!
