I can see why some of you might think he'd be a good Marlowe. It's just that, for me personally, as soon as I saw that guy Nir Lavi he just clicked as Marlowe and I can't see anyone else in the role now.

I guess cos his hair is longer in that one, and not so curly, he doesn't look anything like Marlowe there, but he really looks like him (to me, at least!) in some of his other pics.

He's Israeli so he's probably slightly darker skinned than the average Brit, though it seems more noticeable in some pics than others. That one above is definitely one of the more exotic ones!

Yeah more Mircea than Marlowe to me too but still too young.
I know Mircea was probably younger when changed but Marlowe was closer to 30 when he died or are you going on the changed young and pretended he was human line...

I don't think he's young. Not old, certainly, but he looks older than 20, which is several years older than Mircea when he died.

She talks about it being past his shoulder again and clipped back in a ponytail in Claimed by the shadows. also that it was longer than hers... LOL I'm too lazy to go look back up more.

Anyways that's why I personally imagined it to be longer, like to the collarbone, maybe a bit longer, and straight/wavy, not too curly. LOL but we all have different pictures of how they should look in our heads ;)

I always thought Mircea's hair was straight. And not quite black, but very dark with reddish glints when the light hit it.

This may be wrong, but that's how he is in my head.

By the way, does anyone know what Zheng-Zi's (Scarface) hair is like? Long, short, bald?

I tried to look through the books for Zheng's description, but I couldn't find anything specific about his hair, except that it's dark. What I did find, for reference, is that he is six foot five and about 260lbs, with a handsome Asian face and dark eyes. Oh, and a tiger tattoo on his left cheek.

And his official title seems to the The Exalted Zheng-Zi! We must show respect!
