Just finished second was even better you will love it

Haha I used to read loads as a kid and then phased out but now I’m back and it really relaxes me.

LTJ I have been in a reading slump for awhile not good don't like it just started up again. I read and I have to have my many cups of coffee too :)
Happy Reading

Stephen King - If it Bleeds and Thinner - 2 of his books I haven't read before. Will be awhile before I get to Fairy Tale unless I buy it because there are 20 holds meaning 20 people waiting to read the book.
Dean Koontz - Elsewhere - haven't read it before so will see how this goes.
John Saul - House of Reckoning - also a new read.
Sadly they did not have any Michael McDowell - Cold Moon Over Babylon or The Amulet. Even sadder hard to find paperback copies that do not cost a fortune. Both were great reads that I read decades ago and had copies. But as I typically only used to read fiction once, donated my collections over the years. Aaaah silly me.

I read everything of his when it comes out.

Hi Jocelyne - I am also from Ontario. This year I just read Salem's Lot again - first read was after it was published back in the 1970's. Just finished If It Bleeds, enjoyed the read. Have a number of his books to catch up on as I tend to read mostly non fiction these days, but always enjoy his fiction as a break now and again.

Stephen King RULES!

Hi Mara. I read Carrie when it was first published, definitely one of my favourties. He definitely does a great job of writing about interesting characters and keeping the reader curious right up to the end of the novel.

Like proper book but also read on my kindles oasis Paper white or kindle fire
Made new good reads up fresh one for new year :)

My name is Joe, I was born and raised in Maine, and consequently have always been a King fan since I was a wee tyke. His horror stuff is awesome (I'm a horror writer as well and love his son's work, too) but I prefer his non-horror stuff. I love the Dark Tower series (not the movie but I'm cautiously optimistic about the show). I also love his period piece movies, too, like Stand by Me and Shawshank Redemption, and Green Mile.
Right now, I'm living in Vermont after living in Mobile, Alabama during the pandemic. I also recently ordered Fairy Tale since I haven't read that one yet.

My name is Melanie and I've been an avid reader and lover of literature ever since I was little. I was introduced to Stephen King by my 7th grade English teacher, who for some reason thought that I would enjoy It (even though at that time I wasn't super into horror). Well... turns out, he was right! Stephen King has been my favorite author ever since. But I'll read just about anything and everything!
Hope everyone is just having a wonderful morning/day/evening/night wherever they are :)

LoL it rained every single day we were there but it was an amazing vacation :-D

I hope your next cup of coffee or tea is amazing and looking forward to more conversations about my all-time favorite author!

Yeah, Kennebunkport is nice! It's funny because it actually doesn't tend to rain a ton there. When I was in Mobile, Alabama it rained literally every day at least for an hour haha. And yes ,if you love seafood it's the place to be. I was talking to Timothy Zahn once at a convention and he was super nice and he and his wife were staying in Maine and wanted to know some good seafood places but I am sadly not a fan of seafood except fried fish. I also acquired a taste for red snapper (blackened) down south haha.
Did you visit King's house while you were there?

I wish, we didn't but plan to in the future!

My name is George and I am from West Virginia. I am legally blind, so all of my reading is with Audible.
It's my pleasure to meet you.
- George

My name is Sam and I am from Adelaide, South Australia.
I am getting back into reading after having a break from it for a few years.
I am slowly getting into Horror and find myself really loving the genre! I am primarily reading Stephen King novels at the moment as I thoroughly enjoy his storytelling. I have read both The Body and Pet Sematary and am currently reading Salem's Lot.

Good Luck Becca that is my goal as well.

I remember first seeing IT/The Shining/Cujo at an early age and being mystified. LoL never looked at clowns, hotels, or St. Bernards the same ever again...
