It must depend on the books though. I have loved all the SK books I've reread recently ... just as much or more than the first time. Guess it depends on the author! :-)

My name is Volana from Madagascar.
I'm a huge fan of Stephen King, Mark Lukens, Nick Cutter and Freida McFadden.
If you know other good Horror and Thriller authors let me know.
Thanks

I have yet to read The Stand but it's on my TBR, maybe early 2023!

I have yet ..."
Thanks for the welcome LTJ. I'm eager to read more of his work!

Also recently started the Dark Tower series so will be returning to that soon, hopefully. My favourite SK at the moment has to be either Pet Semetary (for the ending) or just the expanse of The Stand. I've heard good things about Fairy Tale, so i'm excited to get going with it!

I finished Fairy Tale in September and absolutely loved it, happy reading!

My name is Andy and I’m a graduate student (and passionate reader) at Concordia University developing a citizen science project that engages passionate readers like you all here. We want to learn more about what interests you about the stories you love.
We’re looking for participants in our study! If you might be willing to participate in an interview (ca. 30 minutes) over Zoom, we’d like to find out what readers like you would like to see in a project driven by “citizen readers”?
You can access our project here: https://www.zooniverse.org/projects/c...
If you’re willing to talk books, please send me an email at a_perlu@live.concordia.ca or citizen_readers@proton.me. Hope to hear from you soon!

@Jody Hi Jody. Like you I have been on good reads for awhile but just started getting active a little while ago. Partly to do the book challenge and partly because of this group. I read Carrie when it first came out, have been a Stephen King fan ever since. Of all his books I think Misery was the scariest. Most of his work you can chalk up to, imagination. Misery was just a little too real.

@Lyle Hi. I began reading his work back in the '70's. Started with Carrie and continued reading up to Delores Clabourne. Just getting back to his works. Salem's Lot is definitely one of my favourites, just read it a few months ago. As great the second time as the first.

@Adam Hi I don't follow a reading schedule, but lots of interesting comments here. I haven't read Fairy Tale yet but a lot of folks are talking about so is on my to read list. Currently I am reading non-fiction but all the talk about King and Koontz is definitely getting me interested in taking a break and getting back to fiction in between.

My name is Emily and I am from Sacramento, California. I just joined this group because I am an avid Stephan King reader. I am currently reading Needful Things but I am always on the lookout for something new and exciting of his to read. I look forward to having some discussion and connecting with others :)

Have you read Fairy Tale by King yet? Not really horror, more of a fantasy but my goodness, it was AMAZING to me and might even be my favorite novel of 2022!

I have it downloaded and it’s on my list but I haven’t gotten far with it but it sounds so interesting to me!

a spousty dalších.
