Honest, it's not. :-)
But it definitely sounds like it will be a great read.

I've just started reading the books this year, but that was enough for me to fall in love with SK. I'm currently reading Salem's Lot. I'm very excited to share this experience with you all! You can feel free to add me, and we will can talk a lot about the Kingverse :)

A friend and I buddy read Gerald's Game and we're about to buddy read Salem's Lot.
I'm also making my way through the movie adaptations.

Hi Erin: For some reason Under the Dome went by pretty quickly when I read it. I thought it was a very easy read and eventually one I didn't want to end. That's when I appreciated the length. I liked the Stand but it was more complicated and so it was a little slower going... for me. I think you'll like Under The Dome.

My name is Autumn and I'm from Michigan. I dual majored in theatre and criminal justice in college. My day job is in communications but that doesn't stop me from continuing to act and do photography. I'm very new to Goodreads (just signed up yesterday) so I'm still learning my way around. : )

Hey, Autumn welcome. I see you're reading the Halloween Tree. I have quite a personal story related to the writing of that book. I wrote a blog about it, but it may have disappeared. I'll try to repost it. I knew Ray Bradbury when he was writing it, originally as a TV show called "The Pumpkin Tree" because he got angry when they never showed the great pumpkin in the Charlie Brown show, "It's a Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown." If I can post it I'll let you know.

Welcome Azahara, the whole group is reading King books in chronological order. We're finishing Firestarter this month, but some people are behind others are ahead. Some of us who have read them all several times will always chime in when someone posts a new idea on a given book. BTW, chronological order seems like a good way to go.

Hi Asahara, we veterans look to the newbies as you call yourself, for new ways to look at the works of Sai King. Many of us have read his works multiple times and are looking for someone else who is new to share thoughts and opinions with. Just because we have read them before doesn't mean we are experts LOL. We love to read his books that's the long and short of it. Welcome and may you enjoy your time here we look forward to your thoughts and opinions.

Hi Autumn and welcome to Stephen Kings pages we value all thoughts and opinions no matter that they might differ from ours, it make for lively conversations.

My name is Tamara and I am a 27 year old living in Canada who just discovered the wonderful world that goodreads is!
I have been a Stephen King fan since I was first able to read. My Mom had all the books (at that time) and wouldn't let me read them because they were "too scary" so I would sneak into her room at night and grab the books and read them secretly. Then once I read all her books, I graduated to hiding under the bed to watch the movies.
Have been a fan ever since and have my own growing collection
