hi all! my name is hallie and I just recently joined Goodreads a couple of months ago! i started reading Stephen king when I was 13 or 14, so for about 6-7 years! the first book I read was The Shining, and so it holds a special place in my heart. I love Stephen King, but when I'm not reading his work you can find me reading the works of Donna Tartt, Janice Hallett, and Richard Matheson. I am excited to be a part of this group!

Hey Guys! I have just started reading Stephen King Novels! The only book I have read so far is the Institute although I have been collecting his books ever since and have so many on my list to read!! Can’t wait to keep reading. The shining is next… 😁
I agree Hunter I think his earlier stuff is much better.
Hey. I started reading SK back in 2018. IT was my first victim. Tbh, I'm still reading this book, coming back to it every now and then (not because I dislike it but it just happens that I put it aside after reading a couple 50-200 pages, don't ask me why).
My interest in his works came through a question the very young me was asking myself: can someone be scared to death?
That's why I started my journey in the horror genre in general.
So far I've read a couple of Stephen Kings books and this author just worked himself a way into my heart. No matter which book I pick up and read through the back, I am mesmerized by the content it's offering. I love his ideas. And I want to read as much of his stories as I can.

Hello! My name is Abi and I recently got a kindle and joined goodreads, but I've been reading Stephen King since I was a teenager! My favorite ones are "Misery" and "Desperation"! Nowadays I read a little bit of all genres but horror will always be my favorite!
Hey!! name is Hannibal. Northern California native currently living in Georgia. I'm getting back into reading lately and King is one of my favorite authors to read. Not only because he is a great writer, but because my godmother and my aunt who have passed on were huge fans.
I've now read 5 of his books. "Misery" "The Shining" "11/22/63" "Salem's Lot" and "Pet Sematary" (which wrecked me). I'm about to start "Night Shift" today!

Ooof forgot to say I’m a massive horror / thriller fan (along with King obviously) but will read or watch anything really! I was a very active member on GR years back but life took me away as it does but now I’m trying so hard to get back into reading more and being more active here😆
Hi I’m Amy, I have been a SK reader since I was 11 years old when my dad gave me Desperation one summer when I had nothing else to read and I was hooked. I’m now 42 and have read many of his books since. I couldn’t name a favourite of his but ones that stood out is The Stand, Dark Tower Series, Billy Summers, Mr Mercedes Series and Holly.
