I loved this book and it was my introduction not only Elena and Clay but to Kelley Armstrong's Women of the Otherworld series. I want to re-read and join in the discussion. Elena is one of my all-time favorite characters.

I read Dime Store Magic & then Industrial Magic before reading this one which dragged for me. My daughter read this one first & liked this thread of the Otherworld better. It's been a long while since I read them, so I'm going to try re-reading & see if I like it better.

I read Men of the Otherworld first, which I preferred to this one. I think my problem was that I found the male characters more interesting. This one was ok but I wasn't toatally conccinved or engaged by Elena. What I wanted to know about was why and how she was Bitten - which was in another book as I remember - or have I got that wrong?
