I just joined GoodReads today and this is the very first book club I've ever joined...I'm 46 yrs old, so I guess it's about time. lol I'm looking forward to the activities and challenges. :) Oh, and I live in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. Hello everyone!
I have just joined the group and am looking very much forward to reading a variety of books with you. I am from Reykjavik, Iceland, a keen reader of all sorts of books, fiction and non-fiction in my beloved icelandic, danish or english. I just finished "The unlikely pilgrimage of Harold Fry" by Rachel Joyce and just loved it. I am not much of a computer nerd, therfore I could not find out how to start a new introduction, hope its all right posting my introduction here.

Hi April, Thanks for the welcome! As a matter of fact, I do have a question and I'm not sure where to ask it, so here goes: As I stated, I've entered the Low Octane Alphabet Challenge. I recall in the rules that it was OK to create a "potential" reading list but I don't know where I should put it. Does it go on the "bookshelf" I created? I don't want to mislead anyone by listing them and thinking I read all 26 books in a weekend (lol). If you could help me with this, I'd be grateful. Thanks!

Chris, thanks for asking! In the discussion section, you will see a thread for "Challenges: Year Long Reporting". Once there, you will see how members that started their own topics such as "April's High Octane Alphabet". Create your own topic there and title it with your name. This is where you can list books you plan to read AND report what you have read. I will send you a copy of the January newsletter. It explains how to do this much better than I just did!
