ABANDONED. Dreams that transform lives through advice similar to how to care for a garden

The story about a woman who work herself too much, she have a friend who become a chef in famous restourant. She always ask her friend to send her when she need to go. She have a lover. but break up with him when she found out her lover cheat on her because she's too busy with work. After that, she realized that it seems to go wrong and when she sleeps, she met with old man in the garden. The old man give her advice to change her to become a better person.

When she wake up, she write in the note so that she not forget it. The dreams continues and she start to change and realized she lost a lot of thing. And not realized her feeling to her best friend. her best friend and her start to dating and when live become better for her, the old man show up and give her the last advice.

I really forget with the title and the author. but, i remember the cover have blue or purple color....
If all of you have any idea, please comment in this topic... i will grateful for you help

ah.. i forget to tell that the book have been translated in my country in Indonesian around that year.
At first i think the author is nicholas sparks..
because the cover similliar with all the books by nicholas, but when i search it, none of the book matches with the books that i want
