Nook - The Technical Side > ADE suddenly not working

Today I tried to open a library book on my Nook and was unable to. When I plugged my Nook into my computer, I was asked to authorize it with ADE. (Even though it's been authorized for years.) So I did, and then reloaded the books, but I still can't open them.

I can think of two possible issues -- one was that I recently downloaded the Kobo app and the other is that I received a Nook software update last night.

Anyone else having problems with ADE?

Rachel-RN (rachelgoodbyeborders) I had the same issue with all the books I bought from other websites that had DRM. I want to say I deleted my Adobe registration from the Nook and that fixed the issue. I haven't bought any new books since that, so I don't know if that solved the issue....

The fix has to do with removing a file and then re-activating the Nook, so probably.

If you buy from Sony, that can cause an ADE issue, though not the same one.
