For those that don't know my publishing history, I spent more than a decade writing 12 books before quitting writing (for another decade). A fair number of them (about 8) were books that never were intended for publication. They were books I was writing to learn the craft of writing. But books 9 - 12 were written for publication they just didn't get any traction.
With the popularity of my Riyria Revelations stories I can now revisit some of these earlier stories, the first of which is Antithesis. While the story has been completely rewritten from the ground up...the idea is one that has been with me for more than a decade. So in many ways it is a return to my roots. That, combined with the fact that I'm going to be self-publishing it (as I have originally done with my other books) makes the whole project feel like "coming home."
I'm currently working on edits to my next two traditionally published works (The Crown Tower & The Rose and the Thorn) but as soon as I wrap that up I'm going to start the final edits for Antithesis. I'm hoping for a release in March of 2013. If you are a fan of my writing, I think you will enjoy it. Please consider adding it to your bookshelves now.
