SOLVED. Childrens/YA kids with super powers -- including a boy with omnilinguism & a girl with electricity/time-travel powers (Mindwarp series by Chris Archer) [s]

Hi! This has been bugging me for YEARS (literally), so I'm really hoping someone will be able to help me out. All help appreciated.

What I can remember
--There's a girl called Toni, who I think has dark hair. She has powers that at first seem to just be electrokinesis, but it turns out she can also use them to travel through time. I think at one point she sees her mom in a tv, and her mom also had powers, which she didn't know?
--A boy (I think he's redheaded) has the power of omnilinguism. He discovers it in public, at this like talent show festival or something? His friend forces him to go on stage and he ends up being able to speak a bunch of different languages for the first time. I think he finds out that his dad has powers, but not sure if I'm making that part up.
--I think/assume there were a few other kids with powers, but I can't remember them. I think maybe they later discover that their parents also had powers, but I'm not sure.
--I remember reading it in like, late '90s, early '00s.
--The kids were between pre-teen and like, 15-ish, I think, rather than older teenagers.
--It was a series of books, I think. There was definitely time travel involved, and I think I remember a really fancy city, and possibly aliens?
--I think I remember the covers of the books having one of the kids face on it and then a really bright colour. Ex Toni with lots of purple, but I may be making this part up.
