If you don't mind 'steamy' I recommend Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter books. It starts with Fantasy Lover, which isn't technically part of the series, but it is a prequel.
If you decide to read, let me know what you think!

No problem. Just an FYI--Fantasy Lover was my least favorite, so if you don't love it, at least consider reading the next one!
I'd suggest:The Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost - The first book is
.The Otherworld series by Kelley Armstrong - The first book is
.The Dark Swan series by Richelle Mead - The first book is
.The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa -
.The Goddess Test series by Aimee Carter - The first book is
.Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi -
.I'll stop now before I go on forever, lol. The first three in the list are adult books. I hope this helps :)
Amanda wrote: "LOL okay!"Totally agreeing with Angie on this one. In fact, you can probably start with the second book, Night Pleasures, first and be fine. It'd spoil you a little for what happens in Fantasy Lover, but Night Pleasures is a better indicator of what the series is like. (For the record, I loved Fantasy Lover...it just doesn't show much of the Dark Hunter aspect.)
And its a series I UTTERLY ADORE.
There's also an arc that's geared to the YA audience from the series that's just as good (in some ways, I almost like it more). It takes place about ten years before the Dark Hunter books in a...sort of alternate universe. kinda. Starts with Infinity
Read the Lux series by Jennifer L armentrout I promise you it will not regret it!! Just atleast check out the reviews and see if its the kind of books your into.
lux series by jennifer armentrout
fever series by karen marie moning...
i strongly suggest u read fever series.. u will definitely like it.. and i assure u that u cant find any other book good enough after that.it spoiled every thing for me..
being said that.. i like lux series too

Seconding the Lux series hardcore. I am have Opal ready and waiting as soon as I finish my current book. Can't second the Fever series, tho. It was seriously not my thing at all.
I know people have suggested City of Bones and Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare, but both of those series are great! I also enjoyed the Lux series, its so addicting! I am reading the third one now and its sooo good! If you like short, cute stories, then you should try the Single girls series starting with Single-handed by Veronica Blade. They are SUPER short so you can read all of them in a day.
Demons of the SunThis is a book that is in the same field- Paranormal, Romance... Demons. I enjoyed reading it and will definitely be taking some of the suggestions already made to you.
hey girl :) I love paranormal romance!!!! Its my favorite type and vampires happen to be one of my favorite type of supernaturals. So i would suggest My Blood Approves by amanda hocking, Shadow Falls series by C.C. Hunter, the Immortal rules which somebody already suggested and Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl (its not about vampires or werewolves but its good.) These are just some ideas.
Jaye Wells' Sabina Kane series is good. If you would like the Dark Hunter series sending by email, get in touch, I've got 28 of them.
I have gotten into the Argeneau series. It is steamy and romantic! Some are funny and some are kinda serious. They are good reads. So far there is 18, I think, in the series. You can read in order or our of order.
Hi Amanda. Here are a few suggestions for you of books I've really enjoyed. The Timber Wolves series
Ruan Series, but they are stand alone novels. I loved
Really enjoyable if you can slog through the slow start. This is book 1 in the Blood Destiny series
I've read the first 7. The first 5 were particularly fun to read.Hope this helps!
I loved the "Blue is for Nightmares" series by Laurie Faria Stolarz, "Hunger Games" and "Something Witchy This Way Comes" by Veronica Blade was really good, just the one book though. Happy reading!
There is of course the sookie stackhous series by Charlaine Harris (adventure, love, vampires, werewolves and a lot more. And I would recommend (first book) Switched,(second book)Torn and (the third book)Ascend by Amanda Hocking. (No vamps or wolves but some other awesome fantasy stuff and cute boys!) Good luck and have fun reading!
