by n by i just updated a couple of my poetry stuff at the site so hope to find a detailed analysis(critical or otherwise:) soon...
Hello, there!Found the group while randomly scrolling through the site. Thought I'd pop by and say hi.
A little about me: I'm an extremely voracious reader, currently going through an UF phase. Though, to be honest, I read pretty much everything I can get my hands on. My (current) favourite authors are Jim Butcher, Kevin Hearne, Isaac Asimov and George R.R. Martin.

@Faheem what did I do?? :P.. except that and no you are not gonna mention that on this thread!!! Are you?? *sweating* :(
Hey there, guys! Thanks to all the nice people who welcomed me. Glad I found this bustling(and from the look of some of the threads, slightly psychotic)community of readers from my region.
@Preeshay Pleased to have provided you the opportunity.
@Faheem @Maira @Zenab Thanks, chères.
@Aalia Thanks for the recommendations. Joining general-themed groups on GR seems a waste of time. Most of the times, they are filled with book fanatics: hard-core fans who keep going at each others' throats to prove the supremacy of this fandom or that. I prefer to keep my sanity intact. ;)
@Faheem thnx man(hope you wont mind being called "man" like "Little Mr.Polite":p)@Maira gal you say it polite...:0 anyways hi sweety;P
@Osama hey Mr.Polite oh sorry "Little Mr.Polite":p how about getting over those some of psychotic threads n loving the rest...??
click...??
hi i am atiq .....i have started to develop an interest of reading 3 months ago after resigning from my job..oneday while i was searching for ebooks then i came to know about this fantastic site, thats how i ended up here..great to see lively pakistani readers community and would love to seek some help regarding books...as far as my interests are concerned,THERE ARE ONLY TWO THINGS I DO MOST OF THE TIME,one watching football(european leagues),and other thing i love to do is listening classical, semi classical music! and yes i have started reading books too.

Can you please enlighten me of the great affront to your dignity that this wretched and lamentable worm has somehow managed , your majesty?
Snark and sarcasm aside, it was not my intention to offend you. It is possible that you misinterpreted some of my phrases. Calling the threads psychotic wasn't meant as an insult-just to indicate that the group members were way active. The "Little Mr. Polite" you are using again and again was meant to be taken with a grain of salt.
@Atiq welcome to the world of goodreads :)@Osama hahahahahaha you know what Osama i hd a childhood friend named the same n was the same way Mr.Got Irritate
at any spot:P
smiles apart i never was offended it was just a by n by saying so... but of course if you get offended by any of my callings "sorrryyyyyyyyy Mr Polite:p"

Oh, piss off. I'm in no mood to start an online battle of wills with you. I've had enough sanctimonious online rows to know better.
@ Alia
I think I lost mine long ago.
@ Osama O come on man i never meant all this blubbering to be the start of a battle...:pHands off if i really do:)
thanks a lot everybody!!i havent read too many books to be honest as i stated in intro that i only started to read books some three months ago but what i have read till now it was i guess related to these genres namely memoir, biography, history, religion, crime and spirituality and those are the genres i would like to explore in future too.
@yes Aalia i wont bring any disgrace to this society and especially after the kind of threat it poses as you stated!! by the way given the kind of lively and engaging society it is,its an absolute previlige to be a part of this society...
Sohaib wrote: "@MAhrukh what are your fav genres? :)"Tbh if its a book i dont mind reading it all...no matter what the genre is but these days i'm addicted to YA novels, mystery,sci-fi and philosophical books :)
