I read

CALLED:
EMERGENCY VEHICLE; PAGE 72. From inside the sheriff's Blazer, Rob looked out at everyone standing in front of the Buckhorn, his gaze taking in the two deputies as they checked for sobriety before letting
anyone go.
CLAIMED:
BELT Page 63. She had long red nails and hooked a finger through Rob's belt loop.
ELBOW: PAGE 119. "We should start over." His palm slid to her elbow then dropped to his side.
LIGHTNING: PAGE 166. "And lightning didn't strike?"
3 1/2

Review: The third in the Chinooks Series by Rachael Gibson. I read this series when I feel like something lighter to read, as they are a great romance, but not heavy on the sex. This time its Retired Chinooks goalie Rob Sutter's turn for a go at true love. Rob is approached in a bar by Katie Hamilton, who offers herself up to him. He refuses her advances and the two go their separate ways. A few weeks later in his home town he is introduced to Katie again, by her grandfather, neither let on they have met before, until they catch up alone later. As this is a romance story, of course the inevitable romance ensues, and we eventually get our HEA, after going through all the yes I want him/her, no I dont want him/her.
Good easy read, although I didnt feel it had the same depth of feeling that the previous books had.

Item: Emergency vehicle

Read:21/01/2013
Rating:★★★★
Review:
I had this on my to-read list for a long time and I knew I'll love it but for some reasons hadn't read it before. The twin sister and the big brother of a married couple are stuck with their sibling's children and in the middle of their marital problems. A sweet funny quick read.
Items:
Emergency vehicle:“Call an ambulance.” page 18
Snow:“So many you must be snow-blind.” page 64
Elbow:Ross dropped his hand from her elbow. page 68
Bra:Her push-up bra
cleavage was all but hidden under a tangle of thrift-shop beads and phony diamond strands.page 12

by the way Eddie Cibrian was on that 3rd Watch show about firefighters. i loved that show, but it was cancelled after 3 seasons. that seems to be a theme with my shows. i wish they would cancel greys anatomy because it has become ridiculous

the real housewives?

"Reality" tv (faux tv) sucks!

Week 8: Emergency Vehicle

The History of Love by Nicole Krauss
Read: Jan 21, 2013
Rating: ★★★
Short Review: This book was added to the 1001 Books List this year. It's an intertwining storyline about an old man, a book of love and a young girl. Normally this sort of thing is right up my alley. But, while I liked the way it was constructed, I couldn't get into it up until the last 50 pages. Disappointed, but maybe I'll try again in a year or so.
Items Found
1. Miscellaneous: Emergency Vehicle (Ambulance): "The ambulance came. At the hospital they pumped his blood."

2. Body Part: Nose: "When I took off the glasses the toolbox was there under my nose."

I forgot to check for my other items too this week, luckily I had what I wanted but it was close , but from this week we have to check for the items we want to claim before starting a book .
I only need lightning, nose ,fruit and sky.
Chaitra you'll need tail, elbow, fruit and bra
Ezi if I'm not mistaken you're going to claim rainbow , and tail and either belt or necklace , which leaves you with paper and either belt or necklace.
Kathy you'll only have to claim toe and paper.
We might claim all our items with the next 2 items. The best case scenario is if lightning is called this week

"
Happy to hear that you're better :)

So does Long hard ride... Which I just started.
I was challenged on Paranormal Kickass Chicks (PKC) on our February recommended reads to read Obsidian. So I'll save it for 2 more weeks

I'll claim fruit, rainbow, tail and bra this week.

Book: Long Hard Ride by Lorelei James
Finished: January 25
Rating& Review: 3-stars.
Umm, I was a little disappointed in this book. I didn’t mind the sex, but I mind the weakness of the characters. It was like the author tried to compensate for weak character development by throwing in a lot of sex.
The heroine seemed to Channing Kincaid came from a family were their legacy was stifling her own person desires so she ran away to the rodeo and basically became a groupie. I am glad she got to live out her sexual fantasies and found love. I don’t know if I will read book 2. I may in the future.
Items found:

Clothing (Necklace): “How about a necklace?” (KL 2098 in Long Hard Ride)
