Kaiden puts his hand up 'Um well me, for one' he says.

'I'm just me' says Kaiden with a shrug.
"I'll bet you also know how to read and think personal hygiene is beneficial," Jess said sarcastically.
"Yes i can read, only the good stuff though, and i do like the occasional wash Jess as hard as that may be to believe" says Kaiden with a smirk.
Jess laughed. "You could have fooled me," she teased.
Kaiden smirks wider "Oh how you wound me" he teases back.
"Ridicule is my forte, Kaiden," Jess informed him with a wave of her hand.
Kaiden's eyebrow arches "Oh leave me be, i am but a man" he jokes.
"Nope," Jess shrugged. "I'm merciless. Everyone around here is fair game."
Kaiden laughs and says "Of course, i feel sorry for whatever bloke takes a fancy to you, Jess, you'll eat hima alive".
Jess smiled, "Because there are so many opportunities to meet eligible men." Her sarcasm was tangible.
"Depends on how your standards are" answers Kaiden "your...pretty, funny, strong willed, a lot of men must like that I suppose".
Jess laughed, "You suppose?" She shook her head. "And I meant meeting anyone when I'm sort of cut off from the rest of the average world."
"Yes, well imagine falling or one of those other folk, the vampires or fae" jokes Kaiden.
"That's very impossible," Jess informed him. "They seem too unnatural to be attractive in any way. Appearance, personality, level of sanity..."
"I agree, although it would be a lie for me to say my sanity is completely in tact" comments Kaiden.
Jess looked at him skeptically, "I highly doubt you are as insane as you make yourself out to be."
Kaiden turns his grey eyed gaze on Jess, always observant "Some things may seem insane to those who do not understand it's brilliance" says Kaiden thoughtfully.
"So now you're brilliant?" Jess arched her eyebrow. "Now Damon's interest in you is making sense," she joked.
"I think you'll find his interest in me is purely looks based" jokes Kaiden.
Jess laughed, "Is that so? As long as your relationship isn't superficial."
Kaiden smirks "It's actualy incredibly deep and meaningful really, not as much as your and Peter's obviously" he says.
"Can you tell? Is the giveaway our pet names?" she asked him. "He calls me 'mundie,' you know. So sweet. And I call him bastard." Not the most ladylike word, she knew.
Kaiden laughs and says "Oh yes, we all speculate on how long it will be before he proposes".
"Joke is on you all." Jess said. "He already did."
Kaiden sighs "Oh, well then, now there really is no hope" he says dramatically.
"No hope in me marrying you...I had a speech prepared and everything" says Kaiden.
Jess laughed. "No, you'll mess up the vision," she told him. "I'm going to marry Peter and you Damon. They're so close we'll have to get a home in the countryside so all four of us can live there together with our three dogs and two horses."
"Alright but no cats, can't blody stand them" replies Kaiden with a smile.
"What about Church?" she asked. That cat was probably the only one she liked.
"Church isn't a cat, he's a demon, we can keep him, if only because i find it hilarious when he bites Peter" says Kaiden with a smirk.
Jess smiled, "That cat, or demon or whatever, happens to love me."
"And doesn't THAT say something" replies Kaiden, eyebrows raised.
"That I'm likable by even those who don't like anything?" Jess suggested. "Yes, I suppose you're correct, Kaiden."
"No, just demon cats" says Kaiden lightly.
"Maybe girls would like you more if you were nicer," Jess told him. "Then you'd have a broader range than just Damon."
"Bugger that" answers Kaiden, he turns a smile on Jess.
Jess smiled back and rolled her eyes. "Such a gentleman."
"Ha, I'll leave all the gentlemen stuff to the shadowhunters Jess" says Kaiden.
"Lucky for you, I'm the perfect embodiment of a proper young lady."
"Mad young woman maybe" murmers Kaiden.
Jess gasped indignantly and jabbed his side with her finger.
Kaiden pretends to be in pain and says "Well now your just being violent".
"Oh, yes," Jess rolled her eyes. "A finger with the nail bitten down to the quick; very lethal isn't it?"
"Im in a huge amount of pain right now" mocks Kaiden.
Jess half-smiled. "Aw, so sorry, Kaiden," she said. "However will I make it up to you?"
"When you marry Peter teach him how to put the swords back in the right bloody place so i dont have to spend hours setting them right" answers Kaiden.
"Whoah there. I'm good, but not that good," Jess told him. "That's like asking for sun in the middle of winter here."
