"I'm Mason," she told her, glad Shadowhunters used first names.

(( Selene doesn't look like she's looking at Mason (because she's blind), so Mason wants to know what she's looking at. ))

Mason smiled. "You're a Shadowhunter?"

Selene nodded. Her braile book still sat open in her lap.

Damon smirks at Peter and says 'what we do best brother, kill some demons, i just heard about some demon attacks by cabot circus, feel like working off some frustration?'.
Mason was only half paying attention to Selene. She may or may not have been straining to hear the boys.
Damon looks quickly at Mason and winks, then turns back to Peter still waiting for him to answer Damon's question.
Mason felt the heat rush to her face as she looked back down at the book, pretending to read. She sat there for thirty seconds before she realized it was unopened.

"Sure," Peter said with a slight smile.
"If you don't mind me asking, what time is it?" Selene asked closing her book.
Damon smiles and says 'Well lets go then', he hits Peter lightly on the shoulder.
Damon took one last look at Mason then left with Peter.
Mason ignored Damon's look and told Selene, "It's nearly midnight."

Peter watched as a girl bumped into Damon from behind.
Mason stood up and walked over to Selene. "Are you alright?" she asked.

Mason frowned after her. She looked at the wall, and wondered why Selene had run her hand over it. "Odd," she noted.

Jess sighed as she saw the numerous books scattered about the library.
Kaiden heads into the library, he had just finished cleaning some of the swords in the weapons room but he needed a book from the library, he notices Jess looking slightly flustered and goes over to help her.
Jess picked up a few books and read the titles before hurrying off to shelve them.
Kaiden picks up some other books and starts to put them back in the correct place next to Jess.
Jess tensed for a moment, then turned her head slightly relieved to find it was just Kaiden.
'Lo, Jess, them lot messed it all up again' he says gesturing to the books everywhere.
Jess smiled smally. "I suppose so," she reasoned. Kaiden had an odd way of speaking, she had noted. "Though it's my job anyway."
Kaiden rolls his eyes, 'Yes, we'd be out of a job if they suddenly decsided to tidy up afte themselves' he says with a light smirk.
"Like you don't love to clean Peter's boots," she teased lightly.
Kaiden laughs and says 'of course i do, as if he would bother to, you know what Master Peter is like'.
Jess mentally scolded as she realized she'd forgotten to call one of the Shadowhunters 'Master' yet again. "Sweet as butterscotch and innocent as a lamb?" she guessed. MASTER Peter seemed far from either.
Kaiden laughs again, but is voice is serious when he says 'Master Peter is...something else, he has a secret, something he's hiding mind you, i've seen the look in his eye, like he forces himself to be the way he is, it's most peculiar'.
Jess shrugged. "Sounds like a personal problem," she said. "It doesn't mean he should take it out on furniture I'm expected to clean up."
Kaiden nods, 'There are many curious things about the shadowhunters, we may never understand' he says.
"The art of looking down on others seems very fragile and time-consuming," Jess spit out. She realized how sharp it sounded, and raced to control her thoughts and emotions.
Kaiden regards Jess, he says 'You find them rather up thier own arse then' he grins a bit.
Jess nodded slowly. "Master Peter called me 'mundie' the other day," she said. "'Go fetch my boots, little mundie!" she mimicked.
