Thoughts about the ending of this book

For me this was one of the worst cliffhangers in the world that meaning the end of this book sucked so bad i mean rick riordan leaving the end of the book with annabeth and percy falling into tartures

To me it was like a rose: beautiful, but it stabbed me, but in the heart. It was bittersweet. It was one of the best Percabeth moments, but an awful cliffhanger.

Actually I don't mind this cliff hanger. When compared to the one when Percy and Annabeth were about to meet this is nothing. At least their together, that's all I care about. Now if it was just Annabeth falling or just Percy, I would've screamed O di immortals!! again and again until I lost my voice. But I really don't mind this cliff hanger. They're together and that's all that matters. :) And plus it was so sweet when Percy let go I was like 'Yup 100 points for Percy Jackson!' Okay I want my boyfriend to be willing to plunge into Tarturus with me just so that we wouldn't be seperated. Anyone else with me?

I'm okay about it. Really. I mean at least their together :) Percabeth all the way.
We know that they're okay. Rick said so and if they weren't then the story wouldn't go anywhere........
I'm just bummed that its like a big cliffhanger.... Actually I'm used to it :)

I so agree with you!!! Rick amazingly showed how much Annabeth means to Percy and vise versa :D Its was so so so sweet......... Its just like this quote
"When you're down I may not be able to pick you back up, but I promise I'll be willing to lay down right next to you."
But I think of it as...
"When you're falling I may not be able to pick you up, but I promise to be willing to fall down with you"

it fucking sucks. I mean, first off Piper told Jason she loved him and there was NO response.
And then, NOOO PERCYBETH!!!! My feels were ALL over the place after reading that.
Oh, and Hazel and Leo aren't together. So my ships aren't sailing -_-

I completely totally agree. I didn't mind it much, it wasn't his biggest cliffhanger either because, well, they're together. I could wait, but I know that I want to read it, but not because of the cliffhanger. I think it bugs me more that the cliffhanger isn't driving me insane.

I don't think this cliffhanger is bothering us half as much as it is bothering Rick. He's challenged himself with this ending,by creating a whole lot of hype and excitement. If he doesn't live up to it in the next one (even if it is a good book) it could lead to disappointment for his fans.(luckily not me, I'm a die hard Percy Jackson fan)

The only way he could have made it a bigger cliffhanger is if he ended the book before the last chapter. Oh my gosh i NEED the House of Hades, like now. How in the world did they survive that anyway? They fell into Tartarus for goodness sake. And if that didn't kill them, then the rock crushing them sure should have done the trick. I'm not saying i doubt Nico, but it seems very unlikely their alive. Plus, to add to the bad news, there are monsters waiting at the bottom prepared to take them to Geia and sacrifice them to wake her up. And Annabeth has a broken foot AND she doesn't have her dagger. so yeah. pretty much the craziest cliffhanger ever.

I don't know about you guys but I cried. It was sad.:(
The cliffhanger was almost unbearable. I mean, what happens to Percy and Annabeth? It was almost like a tragic love story. I really don't want to have to wait 9 months until the next book to finally find out but I guess that's something we all have to endure.
