And though crafted with thoughtful passion the presentation of race relations, drug usage, promiscuity, politics, or even a father’s responsibility is not softened. I don't know if I will win this category is full of great books. Being selected a finalist is an honor within itself. If it is hard to believe that a book with endearing friendships, psychology, philosophy, race discussions, social themes, and politics can still be funny... you better ask somebody.
