honestly, I've never heard of a "happy" book about the holocaust...but you might check the reviews/ratings on I Am David. I remember it being a story about struggle but mainly about perseverance to overcome. it's for a younger age range, so I think it's lighter reading than most others.
Many people found The Book Thief a little lighter book about it too, because of who tells it and that he's funny a few times. I, however, didn't like thd book..... I don't know if these are the best recommendations :) but..I hope they help :)

Oh, and I've missed seeing you around here, chatting and playing games!! I hope things have calmed down and you are back. Happy Reading! :D

I took it to mean #1 is a physcial disability -as in one of your limbs or, in my case - my MC person wears a mask to hide the marks/scars on his face.... :)
&
#9 to be less about a limb like a leg, and more about your senses - sight, sound, speech or mentally
I don't know if I'm right, just what I thought....

LOL. I just don't think I'm mod material!
Um, I **think** mental would go with #9, but I'd feel much much better if Gisbelle or Jacquelyn weighed in on what I'm saying...I'm not 100% sure I'm right ;)

#1: physical disability (lose limbs)
#9: inabily to use any of the 5 senses or suffer from amnesia.
Thanks and sorry again.
