Absolutely. Which ones are yours?

Traveling Diva (travelingdiva) | 372 comments Will, I used your website to determine which books are yours. Please let me know if I made any mistakes.

It seems Will Graham's profile was merged with William Simon, William H. Simon, William E. Simon, William L. Simon...thus putting numerous incorrect books on his profile. So I put the correct authors back to the name on their book covers.

I think the William Simon variations may need to be further disambiged.

Parul | 191 comments Hi Will, if you want all your books to be listed under your own name (William Simon), we can add that as the first author on your books and your pseudonym can be added as second author. In this way you can maintain all your works in a single page and also readers can keep a track of the books with your pseudonym.

That is not always the case. If a pseudonym is on the cover of the book then that should be the one used as first/primary author. If an author chooses to write under many names then that is what he wants to do.

From the manual (my bold):
When editing or adding information for a book written by an author with multiple names, enter the author's name as on the front cover as the primary author. The author's other names may be added in the other author fields.

Oops sorry for my lack of knowledge in this case. Thanks Banjomike!

If you write a book and put "Sidney Q. Smith" on the front of the cover then "Sidney Q. Smith" is the name that should be the primary author. It is the name that people will expect to see on their shelves because it is the one on the book. Your real name, "William Simon" is added as a secondary author not because it is your real name but because there are books floating around that you have written using that name. It provides a link between all the pen names an author might use.

Will wrote: "is leads to another one. In the anthology THRILLER 3: LOVE IS MURDER, due to a chain of circumstances on my part at the time, my novella in there is under 'William Simon'. How could that be listed?

Thank you for all your help! "

That would have to be listed under "William Simon" ONLY, I think. There is no facility to have a second author on a second author, if you see what I mean.

Another cross over, I guess, but this is not my quote. Please delete.

Thank you. "

Not deleted. Moved to correct person. Quotes that appear on your Author Page do not have to be posted by you. Any quote that is attributed to you will appear on that page. This one was posted several weeks ago.

I can't think of one. People will add a quote and specify who they THINK said it. Most of the time they will be correct...

It happens often enough that there is a dedicated thread for fixing quote related problems:
