I just have the goodreads blog? Is that OK or not? I'm looking into getting a blog but I am very new to all of this. I've come out of the stone age in terms of technology. The wheel would not have been invented if I had had my way, well that's according to my husband...

My debut novel is the first in a trilogy. Finding You is a paranormal romance that will be released some time in 2013, if all goes as planned. Your blog sounds really cool, so let me know.

Thanks!

Hi, Sabine. I have a blog at http://devorahfox.com, and am working on my second book as my National Novel Writing Month 2012 project. The new novel will be a sequel to my first, "The Lost King," and I'm aiming to have it out in 2013. Does that help?

Thanks, Sally

My blog is Dante Explorer at http://davelafferty.com
My book is "Afterlife - An Introduction to Dante's Inferno".
If it seems like a good fit for you, I'd love to participate.
Grazie,
Dave

Rules of The Next Big Thing
Use this format for your post
***Include an introduction to your interview post and a link to the person who tagged you for participation.
***Answer the ten questions about your current WIP (Work In Progress). Include a some pictures if possible.
***Tag five other writers/bloggers by sending them an email and then add their links to the end of your interview post so we can hop over and meet them. Their answers should go up the week after yours.
Ten Interview Questions for The Next Big Thing:
What is the working title of your book?
Where did the idea come from for the book?
What genre does your book fall under?
Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?
What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?
Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?
How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?
What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?
Who or What inspired you to write this book?
What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?
^ These are the questions for the blog tag. Your blog post needs to be up between the 9th Oct and the 15th Oct. If you are on SheWrites you put the post up there too.
Best of luck

I am also doing The Next Big Thing and need five authors to tag, so if you are wanting to take part let me know. Sabine has very kindly given the questions you have to answer and I found it quite fun, and it made me think of my current wip in a new way...

Thanks. I was just about to ask for this information. (Now, she asks blushing with embarrassment, pardon my ignorance but where does this information go?)

I need 5 authors to tag, so please pm if you are interested!"
I don't have a blog yet, but I do have a website, and I'd like to be tagged. I'm coming out with a book of short stories and will be publishing the first story soon on Kindle.

I have 5 books coming out next year, and I'm a New Author.
2 Children's books
1 Memoir
1 Spiritual Christianity
1 Women's Health
Yay!

Margaret - I will tag you, as well.
Need three more authors to tag - by Saturday would be ideal. Thanks, everyone!

For newbies: simply post answers to ten questions (about your next book) on your blog and tag another five authors. It's a fun way to promote your writing and introduce other writers to a broader network of readers...
Please PM me if you're interested.

HI Katja....is it too late to say I'm interested....Nikki.

No, it's not too late. Have a look at Ali's blog post on and you'll see how it works:
1. Mention the person who tagged you in the intro (include link to their blog)
2. Answer the ten questions (see Ali's post)
3. Mention (i.e tag) five other authors and provide links to their blogpost.
If you're happy to do that, let me know.
I have two more spots open if anyone else wants to be tagged...?
