Hi, I will be doing THE NEXT BIG THING blog, and need to tag five authors. You need to have your own blog to be tagged so you can blog also. You will need to answer a few questions about your new next book. If anyone interested, please reply to this thread. Thanks

I just have the goodreads blog? Is that OK or not? I'm looking into getting a blog but I am very new to all of this. I've come out of the stone age in terms of technology. The wheel would not have been invented if I had had my way, well that's according to my husband...
Hey Sabine. Sure, I have a blog http://williamvaughn.blogspot.com. My next book (Truth Awakens) is the third in the series that begins with The Owl Wrangler and Guardians of the Sacred Seven. It's well along and I expect it to be released this Spring. So far they've all had almost all 5-star reviews.

Some people don't know the rules of THE NEXT BIG THING so here they areRules of The Next Big Thing
Use this format for your post
***Include an introduction to your interview post and a link to the person who tagged you for participation.
***Answer the ten questions about your current WIP (Work In Progress). Include a some pictures if possible.
***Tag five other writers/bloggers by sending them an email and then add their links to the end of your interview post so we can hop over and meet them. Their answers should go up the week after yours.
Ten Interview Questions for The Next Big Thing:
What is the working title of your book?
Where did the idea come from for the book?
What genre does your book fall under?
Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?
What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?
Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?
How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?
What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?
Who or What inspired you to write this book?
What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?
^ These are the questions for the blog tag. Your blog post needs to be up between the 9th Oct and the 15th Oct. If you are on SheWrites you put the post up there too.

I don't have a blog yet, but I do have a website, and I'd like to be tagged. I'm coming out with a book of short stories and will be publishing the first story soon on Kindle.

Hi NikkiNo, it's not too late. Have a look at Ali's blog post on and you'll see how it works:
1. Mention the person who tagged you in the intro (include link to their blog)
2. Answer the ten questions (see Ali's post)
3. Mention (i.e tag) five other authors and provide links to their blogpost.
If you're happy to do that, let me know.
