Thanks for posting that (and actually making a real banner thingie... not a train or office supplies LOL)
It's cool to see the group growing and we all owe Mel (who is still sending out the hundreds of welcome letters) a giant round of applause.

Thanks, Kaje. We're growing because we have such an awesome group of people to hang with. <3

Although 5733 by the time I got around to posting... so, that's where we were a few days ago.
I hope we continue to be a hopeful, book-filled, safe space for all our members.

That's perfect!!

On this Thanksgiving weekend, we are most thankful for our 5,900 plus members. We are going places and are so happy to have you all along for the ride with us. Thank you all for making this group a success.

:D Exciting!!

i think it will be good story. feature me in there

Welcome, everyone. The interest and community of YA LGBTQ books and stories gives me hope for the future. Moving onward...

It's been a fantastic year. I sent out almost 2,000 welcome letters in 5-month's time. We have the best group going. Here's to a great 2017.

This is a great group doing wonderful things for gay youth. (Sorry, but that is a generic term for me, encompassing all parts of the gender "alphabet").

There is something cool about scrolling through and seeing them get higher and higher haha

Huh, I guess that's right... When I look at the actual members list it says 6,730. It's funny cuz just yesterday I told some ppl there was almost 1..."
At one point, Goodreads accidentally deleted some groups overnight, removing all content and members. We were one of them. (Yeah - cue the running around screaming.) They were able to reinstate us about a week later, with just a few days of input lost, but when they did that, the Groups listing added our old member number and "new" members together. As a result, that "Groups" listing runs about 3000 too high. I told them several times, but then decided their history with fixing things is spotty, and if it ain't toooo broke, don't insist they fix it.
The one on here (6730) is the correct number. The other just makes us look cooler (and the bigger we get, the less it's false advertising) :)
