We went over 1200 members - the group continues to grow. Thanks to everyone who has joined us and especially to the folks who hang out and post and have fun with us here. *insert explosions of sparkly confetti here in pink and purple stars because that's how we do it in this group*

Nooooo Kaje.. no explosions of sparkly stuff... OH GOD.. you will set some members off to throwing it around...
Congrats guys, you're doing a fantastic job! Although Byron you are being a spoil sport here... let them play with the confetti and stars; I'll just add some glitter... there. All pretty!
GLITTERRRRRRRRRRRRR Whoop!!! Flings copious amounts all over By and his meekly vacuumed carpet. Encourages all 1200 members to join in the fun ;) Byron LOVES glitter :P hahaha I think you were the only one that really got sprung last christmas By. Everyone else was wary afterwards lol.
:Yes, Thanks to me.... :) I'm still trying to work out how to get you (Rach) back... heheheI have some thoughts... hehehe
Yay!! 0ver 1200 members!! *throws glitter* well it had to be done *grins*Hopefully the group will continue to grow and more of our members will join in discussions (or just general silliness)
And now 1300 members - we continue to grow and improve! Thanks to all the existing members and a big welcome to the new!!
Hurrah!!Does this mean we are allowed to

Heck, go for the glitter. We've been subdued long enough.
Guys, you know I am always summoned by any mention of glitter *looks around for By and BJ* *hisses* If we're quick we can plan our attack...ahh...I mean, party antics...before the Aussies turn up! ;)

I'd love to do that. Maybe another year, if I have less other travel. I'm sooo looking forward to seeing BJ over here soon. We just have to persuade the rest of the Down-under contingent to come to North America (although perhaps not New York in January...)
WOW! In a little over two months, we have grown by over another 100 members to over 1400!!Sounds like an excuse for a party to me :)

Congratulations to all the moderators. It's your work that makes this group a great place to hang out.
Hurrah for the group and all it's members! This is one of the most fun and safe places to hang out and that is thanks to everyone here....you are what makes this group.

And we're up over 1600 members. It's great that people continue to be interested. Welcome to all the new members, and thanks to everyone who comments and participates and keeps things interesting around here. You guys are the best !!

We'd love to hear about you. Or just hang out with us and look around.
I bet Tim and Jared would join if someone would just give them an HEA in the July Round Robin! OK, down on my knees pleading!

LOL. Yeah, life has been crazy - usually I do round these stories off; it seems to be my specialty. I promise, if no one else does, I'll get to them in another week or so.
Actually thinking about it this morning I thought that would make an interesting story. Two guys meet on GoodReads. Become GoodRead friends, figure each other out a bit by comparing the books they like and how they rated them. Maybe even by "cryptic messages" in their reviews. Or, maybe are competitive reviewers that sort of snark back and forth at each other accross the different forums before accidently meeting in "real life" and figure out who their each GoodReads personas are after "clicking". I dunno, I'm not a writer but I thought it sounded like something I would like to read. Hmmmm?
