I chose this book for two reasons. First, it fits the November theme of highest rated on my to-read list. Second, it is a memoir that I could have written. An Exact Replica is the story of Elizabeth McCraken's son who was born still just before her due date. It's a sadly beautiful tribute to her baby, her husband, and herself. I'm 1/2 way through...

Memoirs aren't usually my thing, but I am quite fond of a book that offers a really strong emotional appeal ("sadly beautiful" is a great way to describe that). I might want to check this one out.
