Getting Amazon to lower your book's price
Great idea for a group, I've been trying to make it free on my own for a while so any help is appreciated.Could you please notify Amazon of my novel Tethered Twins?

My daughter is 10 and just getting into kindle books. I get her the minecraft freebies, and she feels pretty darn cool.

Considering I write for the age group, I really need to get up-to-date. Please grab a free version of my book for your daughter if you think she'd like it. It's on Smashwords, so you can grab the Kindle version there for free.

I went back and reported more today. My book went free yesterday. This one took longer than the others. Hope it works for others. I made the book available for download on google docs on my blog, and then self-reported this, also tweeted it out, saying it was free everywhere but amazon (with amazon in the tweet). Who knows what actually did it. My guess is amazon would prefer we all use the 5 kdp prime freebie days (which I did over the last 6 months).
Worth mentioning that every book I report on here I would love to read. Of course, life is short and to be read lists are long.

Crystal, I'm not an authority but I've heard from several people that they won't pricematch Smashwords. Do you have a Kobo or bN link?
Yeah, Bella's right. Let us know when Smashwords gets it distributed to Kobo or B&N. I'd be happy to help then. Amazon is just pretty picky. They even seem to be blatantly refusing to make my A Life of Death Episode 3 free.

How long has it been that you've been trying to go perma free with this one?
This particular episode, probably 5 or 6 months on and off.
Just curious - does anyone know if it's helpful to submit multiple times for the same book, maybe over a period of days, or do the reports need to come from different people? Most likely, it's all in the Amazon black box, but maybe someone has some insight on this. Thanks, everyone, for reporting!
Weston, Wow that sucks!Maggie, I'm no expert but it's my understanding that aside from the benefit of having more people report it, the same people reporting multiple times is helpful.
Again, not an expert or guru, it's just what I understand to be true.
