Getting Amazon to lower your book's price
Maybe. It hasn't worked for Invisible Dawn yet either, and that's the entire book instead of an episode. I hope the addition of the prologue leads to more sales of On the Lips of Children. That's certainly a great book.

It can take as little as a few days to a week or I have two that haven't gone free for months. No one really knows the key to getting it done.

Crazy I just signed into KDP and I can see downloads under price match, so I guess you're right!One thing I did that might have worked was raise the price to $1.49. Maybe Amazon's bots picked up on it? It's worth a try!

I'd recommend putting it up for free somewhere else like Kobo as I've heard Amazon doesn't usually price match smashwords.

R-My book goes through 14 drafts before publishing. (One is a professional editor and 1 is beta readers.) I STILL find errors. Good luck.
That's so funny, I'm going through the exact same thing. Found errors this morning but nothing too major so not sure if I should upload a new version or not. If we upload new versions, do you think amazon will disregard our previous price match reports? Not sure if I should wait until it's free...or if that will make it not free again. Gah.

I have a short story, THE MALIVIZIATI, that introduces my new series. Since it is so short, I hate to charge for it. I do have it free on goodreads ( https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... ) and SMASHWORDS ( https://www.smashwords.com/books/view... ) , but the lowest I can make it on Amazon ( http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HLBVPWS ) is 99 cents.
