Have you noticed much of an increase in sales from your free promo days on Kindle Select?
The reason I ask is I'm wondering if I should continue on Kindle Select. I've only ran one 2-day free promo on a weekend, but I only received a handful of sales. My rank went up but went back down over time afterward.
I've got three more promo days left for my 90-day period on Kindle Select, but is it worth it?

Yes, I find an increase in sales after promos, think 3 day ones tend to work better. Sometimes the increase is major, sometimes not much - depends how well the promo went!

Neat premise, exciting cover. I am recently published myself (whoooopie! http://www.amazon.com/On-Lips-Childre... and have been since reading the whole other line of books by this same publisher, which is a deep pile. Then again, all of our TBR pile is deep I'm sure)

I don't think length of the story has anything to do with it, but rather that the process is pretty arbitrary. Or maybe they just have some convoluted algorithm that's impossible to decipher.
