Sara ♥ (saranicole) | 1038 comments I don't read any of the other authors in the anthologies, so the library works for me.

Elizabeth (ezepeze11) | 582 comments but...i have this strange thing...i really really really like to keep all of my books! i have a bookshelf in my bedroom that goes all the way up to my ceiling and takes up about half of my wall!

Vanessa (vanessamc) | 646 comments I have all these books I need to read and keep going to the library. I really have to contain myself one of these days. I've been really good about checking out library books. Now I'm reading books I borrowed from my mother. Why can't I read my own? I have no idea.

Morgan | 1 comments I own every single one of the In Death books, and there is not one single one that is not wonderful to read over and over. About once a year or so I reread the entire series from book one to the most reacently published...this usually only takes about two months to go through them all again. And every time I do this I enjoy them all just as much as the first time. When it comes to Remember When I always read both parts as there is sooo much information in the first part that is important to the story of the second part...not to mention they were written to be a set. For anyone new to this series I highly recommend reading them all from the biginning at least once!

I dislike reading a series out of order. I'll either spoil something or miss something that way. It's just better to get the development of the characters as intended. For example, if I had started with Reunion in Death, I'd have done a big huh? with Peabody and McNabb.

And the list is out of date. Can someone please fix it or send a message to the OP to come back and edit it?

Diana, Midnight in Death should be read following Holiday in Death...see the publication date.

I copy/pasted that right off her pdf list so LOL JD Robb has her own reading list wrong!

Yes, and I've sent her webmaster an e-mail asking for a correction. This site is notorious for having errors. Believe it or not, other sources tend to be more authoritative:) Fictfact is one that has it right.

Nora mentioned in her most recent newsletter that the person who has maintained her website left. I wondered at the time if this person also maintained the J. D. Robb site. It could use some work.

Sarah M Dixon (sarahdlovesbooks) So I was wondering, since big jack is in remember when. Than later listed by itself, should it be read after imitation in death or missing in death. I'm a little confused. Thanks sarah

It should be read after Imitation in Death. The order doesn't change because it's listed separately. Remember When is the combination of Hot Rocks, which is the Nora Roberts story, and Big Jack, the In Death story. They were separated so fans of this series could choose to read one or both. Personally, I've never read Hot Rocks.

I hope this is clear
