Obviously it's a matter of opinion based on what you consider power, but I say Percabeth.

Annabeth is strong, but Percy is the best swordfighter. He doesn't need powers to be good. ( But it makes him better).
Actually, that was when he was younger. If he had the skills he had now, him and luke would be pretty equal. And I never said anything about defeating Kronos. But he defeated Ares with his sword and has fought armies of monsters with just Riptide.
According to me , it Totally depends on the situation at hand .
Luke by himself could be defeated by Percy.
To the people saying "without powers", this is a measurement of powers. We are trying to decide who is the most powerful, the one with greatest powers. I know you guys love Annabeth, and she is indeed an amazing character, but Percy is more powerful. Annabeth just had her wits, SHE CANNOT OUTPOWER/OUTFIGHT ANY OF THE 6(EXPECT PIPER, PIPER SUCKS) she can only hope to outsmart them. Percy does not need water around him to be powerful, he can "create" water. He did NOT kill Kronos, but he did manage to outfight him. He claimed he was a little rusty but he is still an amazing fighter, he did defeat an army by himself (Roman Legionaries, Son of Neptune). PS. This post is not to say he is the most powerful, but to say he is more powerful than Annabeth
I think it is Percy so far because he can create hurricanes and control water although Jason has pretty cool powers too that he can use anywhere as long as he focuses. Piper is the weakest though and Leo is helpful since he can make stuff but I wouldn't consider him powerful. I think Hazel might become more powerful though now that she is learning to control the Mist and is learning more magic plus she has that awesome horse. Frank is getting stronger too but I only think he is powerful when he was blessed by Mars and he is still learning about how to control his powers and he is also the one with the most fragile life span.
Maybe Frank has a fragile lifespan, But didn't Leo took Care of that ?? Didn't he make that fireproof pouch for the more-than-half burned wood ??

Percy, Jason and Nico are the guys who are sons of the big three, who can fight and who also possess wisdom about their respective elements.Annabeth is the only one who can make good battle strategies.
Hazel can control the Mist as well as fight.
Leo is the only dude who knows about the complicated mechanics of the ship which even Annabeth doesn't know about.
Frank can turn in animals as well as fight.
Piper can only steal stuff.

1.Percy Jackson
No question here. If you look at all his abilities (I'm not listing anyone's bc so many people have already done that in earlier posts), he can easily do more than anyone else. He also benefits from more quests than anyone else except Annabeth who's gone on as many as him. He's fought one on one with Kronos (all be it with the Curse of Achilles), beat multiple titans, held the sky (which supposedly is a Hell,of a lot harder as a guy), he even faced down freaking Night and Tartarus and still is completely fine and sane. He's gained wisdom from all of the immortals he's met and talked to over the years and his sword skills are great. All of this and he has a fluffy Panda Pillow Pet (as seen on T.V) which is later dismantled and sacrificed by the a-hole Octavion.
So yeah...Percy
2. Nico Di Angelo
It's a toss up between him and Hazel but I think Nico takes it bc of experience. He's a more skilled fighter and has honed his skills arguably better than anyone else. After the House of Hades, he also seems more powerful after going through Cupid and getting the staff (forget what it's called).
3. Hazel Levesque
She took a big jump after the HoH when she learned to use the Mist. That, combined with being a daughter of Hades and having control over precious metals is big.
Didn't go much in to the first three's powers, but most people already have and if you've read the books (Like u should) I don't need to.
Tie for 4th. Frank Zhang/Leo Valdez
Frank-Son of Mars, who has received the "Blessing of Mars" (became more muscular and sure of himself/confident). Descendant of Neptune, so he can shapeshift into any animal/creature he can relate to in a situation. Some animals are easier than others but a drawback to this is he must be focused to change. Amazing shot with the bow and can use most weapons. Blessing of Mars can make him invulnerable during battle but is rare and up to Mars.
Leo-Can control fire, first one since 1600's. Usually thought of as a curse but Leo uses it as a gift. Heat resistant and very resourceful. His level of power is supposedly compared to the children of the Big 3. Can make pretty much anything out of anything. Communicates with robots, can sense pockets of metal i.e. "felt" where a source of celestial bronze was when they needed to fix the Argo.
6.Jason Grace-Ok I know my rank for him is low compared to most people and he should prob be in a 3-way tie for 4th but I just think he's overrated as a son of Zeus. Using his powers drains him way faster than the others. He can summon bolts of lightning, create massive storms (with Percy's help), control storm spirits (which again, drains him), and he's a pretty good hand to hand fighter. Can also fly.
7. Annabeth Chase-I love her character and if it was an actual fight she'd be top 4/5 but since this is power she's not up there. Her main "ability" is wisdom, which she has in greater amounts than most other Athenian children. She's extremely resourceful and talks her way out of a lot of situations. Great with most weapons as a result of being at Camp Half-Blood for most of her life.
8.Piper-Ok she just straight up sux. Yes she can charmspeak like the best of them, but what else can she do besides become super hot when Aphrodite feels like it? She can't even hold her own in a sword fight. Overall the weakest of the 7. I'd much rather have Thalia or Bob.

You think that he sucks with a sword. Well he doesn't. Yes, without his powers he wouldn't be as powerfukl but nobody would. Percy can defeat Annabeth with a sword, honestly. Percy and Jason are pretty equal in terms of sword fighting but I think Percy would prob win still.

If it's power as in control over ..."I wanna start a discussion to ask the most powerful DEMIGOD; not just of the seven. If you ask me, the 7 all balance each other out. But for solo power? I'd say either Thalia or Nico. Thalia is a veteran fighter with lightning powers made practically invincible by Aegis, and Nico has powers over death itself, and in the House of Hades, even Jason becomes leery of Nico, saying that he might be the most dangerous demigod he's ever met. Yea, I'm gonna go start that discussion on The House of Hades XD
Power wise - Percy. He's in control and unpredictable, but sometimes he's not the smartest.
Basically, if we are going with physical, emotional, AND intellectual strength all together, I wouldn't say any of them. They all contribute to the group, which is why only the seven can succeed.
Each and everyone of them is strong and weak in their own ways, but put together, they are a force to be reckoned with.

but then it changes as you read the BoO:

If this is good, try my debate on the strongest demigod of all time on The House of Hades
I PERSONALLY LIKE PERCY AND HE IS BY FAR THE SRONGEST HE EVEN HAD THE CURSE OF ACHILLES. SO FULL STOP!
Definatly Percy. Honestly, Percy is the most dangerous to have as an enemy, mostly because he has a lot more expirence being in certain situations more than everyone else (except Annabeth). Percy could defeat Jason because he has speed, stamina, and attacks great. Annabeth is a close second, and Percy only beat her in my scale because he has more brute force. Annabeth can hold grudges, and she's a genuis, she can easily take down any of the other seven, including Percy. Distance, she's at a disadvantage, and while she doesn't have extra powers, her mind makes up for that and has saved them all multiple times. I think these two beat Jason, because 1.) They have more expirence, their quests required three people and no more, while Romans brought 30-50 people with them (sometimes). And Jason doesn't have Percy or Annabeth's expirence, considering all the action skipped California and stayed in NY. Jason is strong, but no where near Thalia, who I think (along with Annabeth and a super serious Nico) is the only one able to defeat Percy. Hazel is tied with Leo for number 4. Hazel and Leo have awesome powers, but Leo can be a little... Dull at times. Hazel is at a disadvantage with both Percy and Jason. She just isn't expirenced enough (who can blame her) and she doesn't have the aggressive enough teaits for it. Frank is sixth, mostly because up until the last two books he's been kinda a wuss. He's strong, and level headed, but he's not the strongest or the smartest... He is kinda of the coolest (Besides Percy of course.)I never really liked Piper cause I felt she was lacking where others were succeeding. She's not a good fighter, and when she does fight she constantly questions everything, she's not the smartest, and while her charm speak can be dangerous, a lot of times it isn't unless she's really desperate. And she's so lovesick. I hate how lovesick girls are protrayed, being a female myself, and she's constantly thinking of Jason, or maybe of Leo, and while some say not thinking of herself is modest, it's her low self-esteem that makes me dislike her. HOO was given a teenage-y perspective mostly by her. Also, she be trash talkin Percy *sass intended* She's quick to realize her flaws and other's except Jason. If Jason wasn't her romantic intrest I'd like her so much more. PJO had time to devolp the characters and romance but the new series sorta threw them in there.
I also feel like Percy and Annabeth are so strong because I've seen their strengtg throught five books, while ai'm just going on what they say for Jason, and other quests for him and everyone else.

I don't know. I mean each of them have their own special skill. I think Piper WOULDN'T be it and neither would Annabeth, because their skills don't involve fighting, just strategy and talking. I don't think Hazel would be it either, her power is just taking gold out of the ground. Frank probably wouldn't be it because his personality is just too soft. Jason is too lifeless (I couldn't think of a good word to describe him) to be strong enough. Percy is the right choice, he's been working his power the longest (Besides Annabeth) and has a great loyalty level to even out all of his strengths, so by far, Percy is the strongest. But on an unrelated note, Reyna and Nico are just as strong as Percy.
I would say Percy. With a parent of the big three he would have the most power and he has had the most training at fighting.
1) Percy, for a reason I haven't seen mentioned much, pure staying power. He may not have Frank or Jason's range, or Annabeth's cunning, or anything like that, but in Last Olympian, Percy had bathed in the River Styx not to long ago, fought for hours on end, with the curse of Achilles which they said took a lot of energy to have(he was sleeping and eating far more to compensate) he fought one of the strongest Titan's, Helios, to a stand still, and fought Kronos, while convincing Luke of his wrongs.2)Hazel, no crazy powers, but she's far more in control than Frank and Leo put together, she can fight and keep her head for a long time.
3)Annabeth, she's not the child of the Big Three so she doesn't have as much power, but she has a lot of experience, and is the smartest.
4)Jason, I don't like him, but I think I took away my bias when I put him here, he's strong, but he seems to get exhausted to quick, when he's fighting he could probably beat even Percy, than five minutes later he's panting trying to stand while Percy just stands up ready for rounds 2,3,4, and 5.
5)Frank is powerful, but I just put him as to unstable and not enough experience to beat the other four, and his Curse of Mars is to unreliable to boost him up in this list.
6)Leo is powerful, said to be able to destroy the world, but how? If it's just he gets so hot he ignites the atmosphere, I'm still putting that as his loss, he died to. He's smart and powerful, but without a focus he has nothing.
7)Piper is beautiful, strong, and diplomatic. Doesn't mean she's powerful, Charm speak affects the mind, but can be resisted or drown out, she has no battle experience and nothing that could be used for direct fighting, sorry girl, your important, but still the weakest one.
(Note, I'd put Nico as below Hazel and Thalia as below Percy, bumping every one else down, Nico is stronger than Hazel, and seems better in a direct fight, but again get's tired to easy. Thalia is defiantly as strong as Nico, but she also lasts longer in a fight, or se wouldn't have survived so long before Camp, however again, nothing she's shown matches Percy's inhuman endurance and stamina.)
I don't think any list will be complete unbiased to be honest. Cause to be honest even if we can rank them on strength doesn't mean they can beat anyone hell annabeth to me is the weakest of the seven but give her prep and i'm sure she can clean house. Whats with this jason tiring easily the man created a hurricane and typoon in the last book while controlling venti and was doing it while carrying piper he didn't seem tired at all.
It's been a long time since I've read the series, so I may e missed things, but as I was reading this they were saying things like a lightning bolt made him tired, so that says a lacking of endurance with his powers, not physically, he has a lot of physical strength.
Oh that lighting strike in the lost hero that he said drained him. Oh ok, but strangely in blood of olympus and mark of athena he was spamming them and didn't seem to tire hmmm.
After reading blood of olympus there is no doubt in my mind that jason can't beat percy someone come at me so we can settle this debacle and jason is also not stuck up although he has his flaws he just does the right thing because he doesn't like to break promises like his mother did to him, jason gets so much hate just because people think he is a watered-down percy but he isn't he has become his own character and also I will argue frank can take percy as well and nico is pretty powerful but I'd put percy as number 3 and nico as 4
Jason isn't so much stuck up as flat, he doesn't really have evolution or even much of a character besides trying to be some sort of kid-general. At least that's how I remember him, I just don't like him or his character.And if Percy is 3, who ahead of him? You said Frank and Nico? Neither of them have Percy's endurance though, he'd outlast them if nothing else.

Well for Jason let's just disagree, as I've said I don't like him, so I just might not be looking at him as much.For Jason vs. Percy it has more to do with the type of fight, Percy is amazing at one on one, facing gods and titans in this style of fighting, he can cause personal hurricanes and earthquakes, control just about any liquid, and is an amazing swordsman. Taking away as much bias as I can I'm not going to insult Jason, he's a great fighter and leader, but he was taught roman fighting, which is FAR more team oriented, so as good as he is this is just not his style of fighting. As for powers he really doesn't have anything to hurt Percy, a wall of water will stop electricity from hitting him, and he can use storms as well, maybe not as well, but enough so Jason won't be able to gain some major advantage. Also as I've noted Percy has insane staying power, able to fight for days while getting more exhausted than a normal human, Jason just doesn't. If Percy can't out and out beat Jason, he'll out last him.
As for Percy vs. Frank that's more mental, Percy has, again, fought gods and titans, he won't be scared of anything Frank has and he will think it though. Also Percy has a habit of angering dogs, monsters, titans, and anything else while Frank needs some control to truly use his abilities. This is all experience, Percy has experience fighting larger more powerful things, and he's still kicking, while there all either dead, sealed, or angry, Frank doesn't have experience fighting someone who can surround him in a storm or drop a lake on him.
You guys are not giving hazel and frank the credit they deserve! Remember in the end of HOH and FRANK helps control the dead armies with diocletians scepter? And he becomes praetor, and with that's not an easy job, especially when they are trying to repair the camp after BOO. And hazel can CONTROL.THE. FREAKIN, MIST. Maybe I'm the only one who thinks that, but that is some serious power to me. Plus, you would not want to get on her horse's bad side. So the only one that I can say is less powerful than the others is piper. While her charmspeak is powerful, I thought she was stupid in BOO. Follow your heart in the middle battle instead of following wisdom? Seriously?

As for Frank, so were Percy and Jason, I mean he's strong, but he doesn't have the same experience or coverage as others, I mean he's strong, but he's not Jason, Percy, or Hazel.
