message 105: by Camilla (new)

Camilla (cyqua) Thanks for the choices, NayNay :)

I already read Cradle and all, so I think I'll go with The Thirteenth Tale - I've been wanting to read it for a very long time :)

For you, I have chosen these books:

The Dovekeepers by Alice Hoffman by Alice Hoffman

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer by Mary Ann Shaffer

I unfortunately haven't read any of the books on your "pick for me list", so I've chosen these two because I've heard so much good about them and really want to read them myself :)
Hope you enjoy them...

I'm so glad you liked it Lanaia! I am over halfway through Succubus Blues (Georgina Kincaid, #1) by Richelle Mead and I am really enjoying it. I am doing the audiobook in my car and some reading at home, so it is taking more time but I love the characters.

message 141: by Alex (new)

Alex (alex-the-great-bookworm) Finished Outside In, loved it! It was incredibly confusing at times but somehow it didn't take away from the overall storyline. An excellent read, thanks Janis for picking it for me!

Duks (cnduks_) | 1836 comments Sad to say I finished Days of Blood & Starlight (Daughter of Smoke and Bone, #2) by Laini Taylor -_-

Review: http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...

Thank you Sheri!

message 146: by Rebecka (new)

Rebecka Finished Beautiful Disaster (Beautiful, #1) by Jamie McGuire it was pretty good, but I wasn't a huge fan of the relationship, or maybe just Travis. I was also confused because in the blurb it says Abby was trying not to curse or drink but never once did she ever even allude to being that much of a good girl.. But I still liked it, read it in less than 24 hours :)

Thanks, Christine

you're welcome! I finished I am Legend and really enjoyed it. I found it to be almost too short of a story. I am also reading DaVinci Code. watched the movie first and thought it interesting. I like mystery and conspiracy books!

message 149: by Elle (new)

Elle (louiselesley) I won't get my book read unfortunately! I've started it several times and haven't been in the mood to finish it.

I read the first, The Kult, and loved it but I need to be in the mood for a crime/thriller novel :(

message 150: by Camilla (new)

Camilla (cyqua) I unfortunately won't be able to finish my book in time this month, but I will keep it on my TBR for January :)
Thanks, NayNay :)
