Suzanne (esmerelda1) | 2732 comments I have a question on Hood. I have a "hooded sweatshirt" and a "hoodie," would either of those count?

Either are perfect.

Angie ~aka Reading Machine~ (wolffaerie17) | 1469 comments I asked this in discussion thread but I'll ask it here too. Would you accept a white hooded robe for hood?

Yes.

Suzanne (esmerelda1) | 2732 comments I have another Curly Hair question: I found crinkly hair and "hair like Barbie" and kinky hair. Would any of these count for the Curly Hair point?

I am going to go with no. Crinkly sounds like bed head messy not curly. Most of my barbies had straight or slightly wavy hair, so that doesn't imply curls. Kinky sounds more like 80's crimped style. If there were more info there maybe if it were kinky spirals?

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) I forgot all about the hair crimper! That was the hot rocking cool thing for a minute lol.

My 10 year old thinks it is still the coolest. She has me crimp her hair for school at least once a month. I think she is trying to bring it back.

message 110: by Jenne (new)

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) I didn't even know you could still buy those lol.

message 111: by Suzanne (new)

Suzanne (esmerelda1) | 2732 comments I rocked some awesome crimped hair in a sideways ponytail in the 80s.

Paris (pah13) Crimped hair is coming back with all the other 80s stuff, but every time I see it I have a flashback to my own crimped hair that went really well with my wall of bangs.

You guys are bringing back some very scary flashbacks. My sister and I use to crimp each others hair then spend hours teasing and curling our bangs until they stood up about 4" from our heads :)

Turtlecollector Dennis This might be a better place for this question:

Can either of these imply moonlight:

"...looked up at the moon shifting behind the clouds..."

"...high white moon..."

Also, does the emergency vehicle have to be real or can it be a toy fire truck?

Buahahaha! We called those the 10" high bangs that ward off all evil!

message 118: by Paris (new)

Paris (pah13) Alana that is a fantastic name for them. I don't know how I ever got them to stay up that way. Now I can't get my hair to stay in any position even with an entire can of Aqua Net. Although maybe they just aren't making Aqua Net the way they used to.

message 119: by Jennifer H (new)

Jennifer H Wow, AquaNet! I used to pay like 75 cents for a huge can of that stuff, it was like shellac in a can.

ShoSho (shoshost) Thank you: x I read the book and then realized I haven't checked it for the other items.

~Melissa~ Question - do either of these work for Rainbow?

Laid a hand on the sleeve of the young man's arm in a sensual manner that sent up rainbow flags all around their space.

OR

Soft glowing lights in all the shades of the rainbow would ring the area, the festivities kicking off....

message 124: by ~Melissa~ (last edited Jan 21, 2013 11:38AM) (new)

~Melissa~ Ladies ~ all this talk about Aquanet... Yikes.... making me feel old. I hate looking at old 80's pictures of my hair, lol
