I agree with you there Caronline Pattinson. There's no way that it'll look good. The Twilight movie wasn't all that, and it took a long time, i think. that's like what, 7 or 8 months to make it, that's retarded!
OMG I think thats awesome that its that short of time. I mean hello! Less time to wait! I nearly went insain knowing i would have to wait another year to see new moon!

The only way it will work to have the release date that soon after New Moon would be to do some back-to-back filming and maybe even shoot some scenes from Eclipse with actors not needed on the New Moon set. Example: When they are shooting most of the scenes with Bella and Jacob, they should probably be shooting scenes with the Cullens for Eclipse.Oh, I hope that made sense! :)
Hmmm, wouldn't that cost even more money, though? I like your idea, though, Melissa. I think besides the money, the reason they want to get the movies out so fast is because the Cullens don't age. I heard Rob talking about it on a talk show. They have to make it look realistic enough where the Cullens look exactly the same throughout the entire series. But, I mean, it's not like they didn't look like humans in the first movie. I rather wait a year and have a good movie than watch t sooner and have be a waste.
I agree Jennifer, about waiting a year. I don't think people can change that dramatically in one year unless they are forced to.
there is no way this movie will have as good as quality as it could be. I mean it takes a good six to nine months... or more to make a FANTASTIC film. If this movie sucks i am going to write a very strongly worded e mail to Summit
BTW ppl its like they finish the movie a week before it is premeared so it doesnt have to be back to back right away. Producers normally finish a movie 2-3 months before its shown to add all the little details and edit and stuff, so they could wait a month after new moon is done before shooting and that still be like 8-9 months!

but really...they have to stop making these movies so fast...I mean its fun to watch rpattz act horrible and screw up but part of me wants these movies to actually be good.

I agree Stephanie...a movie shouldn't come out that quickly unless they know they have top-notch stuff on film.
I think that is way to soon I was thinking maybe at the end of year of 2010 I mean Eclipse was my favorite book and so excited when I heard it would be a movie too and now it just might suck and summit shouldn't rush us twilighters we can try to be patient and wait for the best it can be to capture the book

Kristen's film adventureland, took longer to film than twilight. *yikes* I wish they would just take their time. I dont mind waiting, if it means the film can do the book some form of justice.

I dont know...wasnt New Moon star filming in Mar 09? so that was 9 months prior to release. Eclipse started filming Aug 09 and coming out Jun 10...thats 10.5 months. I thinks it planty. What worries me that there is no talk of BD....When can we expect that???

I want to find out as soon as possible....lolI think this one is going to take a while longer simply because the need to work out the logistics of how they are going to do it all the special affects etc....Its ok...I can be patient as loong as they make the damn movie!!

Lol. I don't like how some sites used the term "heavily censored", because that makes me think that they're just not going to do it at all. What they can do though, is film Edward frantic and grabbing things while running around the table trying to help her, but never filming lower than the middle of his torso, so the audience doesn't see what his hands are doing when trying to help Bella survive. They can also pan to Bella's dying face a few times.
Also, for the love scene they could just film Edward in the ocean, only his torso visible in the black water. And then Bella's face as she undresses, but not her body. Then they cut to him, waiting for her, while she somehow gets in the water and only keeps her head above the surface, then Edward's face, and then hers suddenly level with his as they kiss and it fades to black, having only shown their shoulders. Then the next morning they are either dressed or wrapped in a sheet. That's how I think it should go. What do you think?

i like that idea, i was kinda wondering myself how they were going to keep it G, in those parts, and i was wondering how they were going to show the bruises on bellas body, if she's coverd, idk, im sure they'll find something, if they dont, ALOT of boys r going to that movie, im pretty sure of it!*creepy*

EXCLUSIVE: I’ve confirmed there’s no director hired yet. And the two productions won’t be back-to-back. But that hasn’t stopped Summit Entertainment from newly scheduling its Twilight threequel for release on June 30, 2010, not long after its Twilight sequel New Moon set for November 20th this year now being helmed by Chris Weitz. Summit also officially changed the name of its vampire movie franchise based on Stephenie Meyer’s bestselling series of novels to The Twilight Saga. Here’s how Summit descibes the plot of the threequel Eclipse:
“As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf.
