Literally just started it as I needed a break from The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, and it is great to have recommendations as I have suck a huge to read list that I never know where to start!

I agree!! It's great that other's feel the same way about this book. As I said, I think it is my favorite book! It was surprisingly good!

If signed this book yesterday and the ending was a great way to tie all the threads together. I agree with some of the comments involving continuity issues in 1986, but it was a sweet and enjoyable story that brought. Tear to my eye.

For those who liked this story, I suggest The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society which is a similar story, and also The Last Letter from Your Lover with similar writing story.
