To be blunt: if it's a book, add it :)

To be blunt: if it's a book, add it :)"
Nice. But i'm referring to translated books that have already been published by a new publisher. Sometimes by the same translator, most times by a new one. Even so?

Or will read that particular book in the future ;)

It is helpful if a title has a lot of in and out of print editions to input distinctive information (publisher, language, date published, and notes in edition field like which printing) on your edition's page. And to combine with correct book editions.
I wanted to ask your opinion, or the policy you follow,
about the books that are out of print and already have a new edition in some other publishing house, with a new translation, a new cover, etc.
In this case do we not add the old edition? Do we add it marking somewhere that is out of print? is it better to avoid to add an out-of-print book even if it is the edition we prefer?
Thank you all
